    Michaela Stirling loves soccer. She has always wanted to follow Scotland at a World Cup. She's finally able to go to the US for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

    Francesca Bridgerton comes to the 2026 FIFA World Cup for one reason: her family vacation. They have decided to go to America to follow Team England's journey. Football has never interested her, and she believes that she will spend the next month connecting with her family as well as counting down the days until she can return to her piano.

    England and Scotland are both in Group F for the preliminary round of the World Cup which means they are stationed in Boston until the winners of the Group move onto the Knockout rounds. Francesca and Michaela keep running into each other and a mutual attraction fueled by flirting begins to develop into something serious neither girls are expecting.
