“No, you’re not.” Peter mutters.
“Ohhh. Oh, I see. So you can go to space and fight freaking aliens at 16, but I’m incapable of distracting a mugger so you don’t have to get stabbed trying to get the kid away?”
“Yeah, well, maybe-” he stifles a groan when Pepper presses the cloth a little too hard into the wound. She winces in sympathy, whispering an apology under her breath. “Have you considered the fact that maybe you distracted me instead?”
Morgan blanches. “You- you’re blaming this on me?”
