It wasn’t fair.
Tokai Teio sat on the sofas of the student council room alone, being fed up with what was happening with specifically her favorite person in the world and some potential dom or something. She was the great Teio, the great monarch that would triumph all over the lands. If that is the case, then why would she be so angry at the thought of Symboli Rudolf and Sirius Symboli? She stood up, thinking for a second as her mind drifted towards the two.
Actually, she didn’t need to think about why she would be agitated towards Rudolf and Sirius. They simply were just annoying to her for what they would do inside and outside the council room. That is, they would do lovey dovey things with each other, putting attention away from Teio herself with her alone time with Rudolf.
“Ugh,” Teio muttered to herself, putting her hand on her head and shaking it, “I need to do something about this. The Prez’s relationship with her partner is good, but they always interrupt my-”
A thought had just passed by her. A singular thought that would at least bring some attention to herself for the moment and would bring her some truly alone time with Rudolf. She laughed. It was the ultimate plan that she had needed all this time.
“I’m going to blackmail the Prez!” Teio said out loud before immediately putting her hands over her mouth, “Nononononnono- I should say tell on the Prez. That sounds better than blackmailing!”
So she decided to blackmail Symboli Rudolf, the divine emperor who ruled Tracen Academy with an iron fist. This was surely going to be a great idea in Teio’s head. Just find where Rudolf was and perhaps say some things that she saw within her own eyes. That shouldn’t cause any problems, right?
She skipped towards the doors of the student council office, singing her favorite song “Koi wa Derby ☆” and opened the doors. She was going to find Symboli Rudolf.
“Ace,” Rudolf said, looking at her across the other side of the couch in the dormitory, “Do you know why the local kids call you peak?”
They were sitting within the Ritto Dormitory lounges, talking to each other as the day was about to end. It was a conversation between Sirius, Rudolf, Ace, CB, and Air Groove with the absence of Narita Brian. This was pretty typical for those involved as working for Tracen Academy could get difficult. Having to deal with their Juniors, parts of campus, or the entire academy itself. Rudolf smiled as she awaited Katsuragi Ace’s response, feeling as if she had already accomplished everything for Tracen today.
“Oh. That’s a new term you’ve learned,” Ace smirked, “But tell me. Why do they call me peak?”
“Because you’re the ace umamusume!” Rudolf started to chuckle.
Ace laughed followed along with Rudolf and CB. Sirius, alongside with Air Groove, groaned at the site of this dumb pun made by Symboli Rudolf.
“This is stupid,” Sirius said, “I want to talk about any fun things outside of puns.”
“I agree-” Air Groove stopped, looking at Sirius with a disgusted look on her face, “What was the emphasis for fun?”
“Something you don’t get-”
“I get fun!” Air Groove yelled, “I have plenty of-”
CB coughed, “Who do you have fun with?”
Air Groove’s face turned from her natural, familiar skin to a bright red, “That… Won’t be the topic for tonight.”
“I’m guessing it’s Suzuka,” Ace winked in her direction.
That face had gotten redder as time passed. Rudolf, Sirius, Ace, and CB looked at each other with their eyes raised. Symboli Rudolf didn’t really think that Air Groove would be closer to Suzuka than before. This seemed to be way too close than a friendship at this point.
“Not gonna lie,” Sirius snapped, “She’s good for you.”
“Hey I didn’t say we-”
“Silence Suzuka is a strong umamusume who always keeps her relationships close to her heart,” Rudolf said with a stern voice then smiled, “I can imagine how close you are with each other.”
“I honestly saw it from day one,” CB spitted out.
“Me too!” Ace said.
Air Groove sighed, “Fine. I do have fun with-”
Out of nowhere, the steps of a Teio came crashing towards the five of them, interrupting their conversation about Air Groove’s relationship. Rudolf smiled, waving at Tokai Teio as she calmed down from her sprint towards them. It was usually normal for her to run to this lounge to the point that they simply welcomed it with open arms. The rest of the group all waved at Teio as she took deep breaths.
“Greetings, Teio,” Rudolf said, “You seem to be in a hurry. Anything on your mind?”
“Yeah, you were about to hit yourself into the wall,” Air Groove said, taking a huge breath of relief.
“The great Tokai Teio has something important that she would like to say with everyone here,” Teio said, her voice being more chilling than normal.
“Wow,” CB said, “This isn’t your usual derby spirit. What’s going on?”
“Yeah. This feels very odd,” Ace mentioned.
She took a deep breath. Typically, when something like this happened, Rudolf would usually predict it to be a low score on a test or if she was made fun of. But that was so many years ago at this point so any word that came out of her would honestly shock her to her very core. With awaited breath, she exhaled, taking a nearby pillow and holding it close to her mouth.
“I’ve been traumatized,” Teio smiled.
“By who?” Air Groove asked.
“The Prez and Sirius themselves!”
“Huh-” Rudolf blurted out.
“WHAT?” Sirius yelled.
Everyone outside of Tokai Teio started to murmur with each other. Each and every passing conversation to each other was too much for Rudolf to handle. First of all, she was immediately shocked by what Teio had said straight to their faces. Second of all, WHERE DID SHE GAIN ACCESS TO THEIR DORMITORY ROOM? She looked directly at Sirius with plenty of confusion who looked back the same way with the confusion itself. In a funny bit of coincidence, Air Groove was in the middle of the entire area. She smirked, looking at everyone around her before slamming her fist several times on the table.
“Order! Order!” Air Groove yelled out.
Everyone shut their mouths up as they stared at Air Groove who appeared to be the judge of today’s case.
“May the prosecutor provide evidence and reasoning for their claim of being traumatized by the defendants: Symboli Rudolf and Sirius Symboli?”
Teio coughed, “Ahem. The Prez always sits on the chair with Sirius sitting on her. She needs to stop doing that or else I’ll see her make out with each other and that’s ew for me-”
CB and Ace bursted out in laughter.
“Okay. It appears the Jury would like to have a say,” Air Groove said, darting her eyes over towards the two of them.
Katsuragi Ace took a deep breath, brushing her laughter away to ask Tokai Teio questions.
“So Sirius Symboli and Symboli Rudolf make out in the student council room?” Ace asked.
“She does. One time I saw the Prez get pushed by Sirius onto the chair itself-”
They both laughed again seemingly without any sense of control. Air Groove let out a small chuckle while Sirius and Rudolf stared at each other in complete agony.
“Order! Order!” Air Groove slammed the sofa again, “Next question, witness?”
“Rudolf pushed into the chair??!??” Ace couldn’t keep her laughter. CB was trying not to laugh too as they looked at Tokai Teio with glee.
“Um-” Teio was nodding her head, “And tied Rudolf’s arms too-”
Ace and CB looked at each other and yelled, “AND TIED RUDOLF’S ARMS TOO?!?!?!??”
They bursted out in laughter.
Air Groove slammed the poor cushions like a gavel several times. Everyone in the room had shut their mouths still with awaited laughter from CB and Ace. However, Sirius and Rudolf looked terrified beyond belief.
She sighed, “Well then… Would the defense like to have a word?”
Sirius blurted, “Can we forfeit-”
“Use the correct terms-”
“Screw you I can say whatever I want-”
“Overruled.”
Sirius put her hands onto her head and had her head pointing towards the ground shaking it. Rudolf put a hand on her shoulder, briefly massaging it before raising her hand towards Air Groove.
“Would you like to have a word?” Air Groove said.
Rudolf nodded, “Yes.”
“Then what is it?”
She took a deep breath and sighed, “We plead guilty.”
Air Groove gave an approving smile, “That seems more like it. Would the prosecutor make up a sentence? I have no idea how a courtroom like this works and I’m merely talking…,” she stopped herself, realizing what words she could’ve said that would’ve been improper, “...nonsense and from the media that I’ve seen.”
Tokai Teio hummed, putting a thumb to her chin before giving a thumbs up, “I have it!”
Everyone in the room, including the two defendants, stared at what Teio would say. Surely, this mock trial of some shorts would have some dire consequences for both Rudolf and Sirius combined. She put her hand to her head, wondering what Tokai Teio would even say. Finally, those words seemed to be coming out of her that Symboli Rudolf wanted to know.
“So. I want you,” she pointed towards Rudolf.
“Me?” Rudolf pointed towards herself.
“Yes you! I want to spend more time with you!”
“Wha-” Sirius said.
“Wait what?” CB and Ace said.
Rudolf quite honestly couldn’t believe it. For something like this to be said about them two, she just wanted to hang out more with each other? She put a thumb and an index on her temples, looking at Teio with a confused look.
“You want to hang out with me more?” Rudolf said with the most confused voice she’s had in her life.
“Yeah! You kinda don’t spend time with me anymore and that’s concerning.”
“I-” Sirius said, slamming her fist on the couch, “So you wasted our time and dignity because you wanted to hang out with her more?”
“Either that or blackmail-”
“THAT WOULD’VE BEEN BETTER THAN OUTRIGHT SAYING-”
“I accept,” Rudolf smiled, “I’ll arrange a time where we can be alone together. Is that okay?”
“OKAY????” Teio screamed, “THIS IS MORE THAN OKAY! I GET TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH PREZ NOW YIPPEEE!”
Air Groove started to clap at this momentous agreement between Rudolf and Teio. CB and Ace began a laugh that would echo throughout the room. Sirius, still confused as ever, was frothing at the teeth. Quite honestly for Rudolf, she didn’t mind too much for hanging more time with Teio. She walked over to Teio and shook her hand. Tokai Teio had the biggest smile on her face as she was shaking her hand. Sirius, however, looked at Rudolf with a mix of enraged confusion towards the two of them.
“SO YOU’RE JUST GOING TO ACCEPT THAT????” Sirius yelled.
Rudolf turned her face towards Sirius and said, “Sirius don’t worry. I’ll still be your-”
Sirius Symboli immediately moved towards Rudolf and covered her mouth before she said one of Sirius’s favorite words, muffling it out before Teio would hear. Her face was flustered and Rudolf could tell from her hand how hot she was on the inside. She moved her hand away with her other hand and gave a small chuckle.
“The secret’s out,” Rudolf said, “Might as well-”
“Don’t-” Sirius, in a shade of #FF5768, shook her head, “I will screw you till-,” before turning into #FF0000.
“What is it?” Tokai Teio smirked, “Potential-”
“Okay maybe it is too much,” Air Groove said, looking at Teio with that same disgusted look she had from earlier, “Uh… Court dismissed?”
“Yeah sure,” Teio and Sirius said at the same time, both looking at each other with some sense of relief.
Everything went back to normal afterwards.
