Noelle shivers, her body twisted uncomfortably, yet she can not bring any meager energy into fixing herself. She’s certain she looks like a mess. Her clothes are heavy on her matted fur, hair sticking from every possible angle - truly hideous. Noelle smiles, despite it all. Her mother would scold her for her appearance if she found her like this.
She’d never find them, though. Not here. The other side of the lake.
Noelle feels a sort of hysteria that she knows is wrong. She knows what she feels is horrible. What she did is horrible. What she will do is horrible. It didn’t matter anymore, though. She’s finally broken free of the glass that encased her. Why would she not embrace this new feeling of peace?
