Summary
They left the walls of the ballet school as undisputed favourites and, within two years at the Royal Ballet, had achieved unprecedented success. Their friendship had masterfully weathered seven long years of on-stage rivalry, and Oscar genuinely believed it would always be that way.
Then a curious rumour started circulating backstage: by the end of the season, the principal dancer's status would go to only one of them.
