Summary
On yet another night of drinking with Allie, everything was going as usual for Vox. Taking care of a drunk Allie. Stopping her from causing a mess. Taking her home. And, as always, listening to all the nonsense that came out of her mouth when she was drunk.
It was part of their routine. Vox was used to it.
But when one of the silly things that slipped from Allie’s lips turned out to be a near-confession of love, Vox realized just how much the uncertainty surrounding their relationship had been affecting her.
With no idea what to do, she ran to Rosie for help. Rosie, being both kind-hearted and completely fed up with the two of them refusing to sort out their feelings, come up with a lie that gets Allie so emotionally overwhelmed that Vox finally has the chance to talk things through with her.
Naturally, Vox takes a little pleasure in the jealousy and possessiveness Allie shows along the way before the two of them finally put a label on their relationship.
