Chapter Text
An admin with brown and blue hair is seen walking through a crowded area, following a black cloud of smoke. No one in the crowd knew what was about to happen in a few minutes, but he knew exactly what was about to happen if he didn’t get the person emanating the smoke to leave.
The admin finally catches up to the smoke person, making him jump, and immediately the person tries to irritate the admin.
Carter, you need to go. Now, the admin said
No, not happening, Frost, the smoke person, Carter said
Then we're going to have to do this the hard way, I guess the admin Frost said
What do you have that can…. Carter trails off as Frost jabs a small icicle into Carter, causing Carter to turn into a ball of smoke and disappear
Well then, having him here again is not good. I thought they locked him out from coming back. Hmm, something else is going on, Frost said to himself
3 hours before
A young admin is taking a nice, quiet stroll, humming a quiet little tune
On the way to the portal back to their server, the admin accidentally gets their directions confused and goes right at a specific sign instead of left, and accidentally discovers something
Something that hasn’t been activated in 4 years
"Alright, I definitely made a wrong turn somewhere. Hmm," the admin looks around, realizing the only way forward is to continue down the path, as the path behind them has closed up.
"Well, guess I’m going forwards then," they say
The admin walks forward and sees an old, unlit portal
"Huh, I always thought they were destroyed when they became inactive. What is so different about this one, weird?" The admin said, and walks a little closer, and the portal relights
"Uh oh, I think I might have done something I wasn’t supposed to," the admin says almost as if it heard them. A cloud of smoke escapes the portal, and alongside it, outsteps another person who instantly falls down and passes out
And the smoke just says, "Ah, finally don’t need him anymore; this feels so good to not be limited to the atomology of players finally after years."
The smoke cloud leaves, and the admin walks over to the other player and tries to nudge him awake, but he won’t wake up for some reason.
"Um," the admin said, seeing a bit of smoke still radiating off the person in front of them.
"Normally I wouldn’t do this, but I feel like this is my fault, so I’m going to take him with me."
Meanwhile, on the admin's own server
"So, does any of you know where Clover is, or did Clover just log off and not tell anyone?"
"I can’t see them on the tab list, so I think it would be the second option," Sly said
"Unless they are just hiding themselves from the tab list," Ashley said, "I know I used to do that occasionally on my server."
"Normally, Clover doesn’t do that, so that would be weird if they just started doing that now."
"Maybe they did just log off and just forgot to tell anyone, Chlooby," Mace said
Chaloobys coms then beep with a message
"Oh, it's clover," Chalooby said. "Oh, what the heck did Clover do"
"Clover just messaged me saying they might have done something stupid and now have someone unconscious with them, and they are bringing him here until he wakes up."
"Oh, just randomly, hmm, that's weird," Ashley said, "and Clover is just blindly trusting the person doesn’t have any ill intentions"
"You have fair reasoning to be suspicious of Ashley after what happened with your server, but I trust Clover’s judgment," Chalooby said
"I know you do; I just can’t help but be suspicious, especially after what happened," Ashley said
"Alright, there’s Clover. I’m going to go give Clover a hand," Chlooby said
"Yeah, alright, I might join you just to see who it is and if it's someone I know," Ashley said
Ashley and Chlooby walk over to the server's spawn and see Clover there with the other guy.
"Clover, what the heck happened?" Chalooby asks
"Uh, So." Clover starts
After Clover tells Chalooby and Ashley what happened
"And you thought that accidentally activating a portal that had been inactive for a few years probably was a good thing," Chlooby said
"I didn’t know that it would activate. I didn’t expect it to," Clover said
Ashley, while the other two are talking, walks over to the person Clover brought with them to get a better look at who it is. The minute she takes a good look at him, she stumbles back and says, "Uh, Clover Chalooby, um"
"What? Ashley, what is it?" Clover said
"Uh, this is him," Ashley said, "but I don’t feel the dark energy anymore, so maybe something happened, but this is definitely him."
"Wait, that's the guy who possessed one of the people on your old server and permanently destroyed it," Clover said
"Yeah, that's definitely him, but as I said, I don’t feel the dark energy anymore, so maybe something happened, but I definitely have to let a specific person know that he is here, as he will want to know."
"Alright, you go do that," Clover said
"I will," Ashley said
Ashley then logs off the server and logs into the main lobby area, and heads to the library, where the person she has to tell works. She arrives at the library and immediately goes straight up to the desk in the middle of the library.
"How may I help you? Oh, hi Ashley," the person said
"Hi Dylan, I was hoping I could talk to Frost about something. Is he working today"
"Hang on, let me check," Dylan said, checking the computer at the desk
"Yep, he is. Let me call him down"
"Don’t need to, Dylan," the mentioned person, Frost, said
"Frost, you have seriously got to stop doing that," Dylan said. Frost jumpscaring him a bit
"What did you need? Oh, hi again, Ashley. It's been a minute. Is something wrong?" Frost asked
, " Uh, I don’t exactly know, but I figured I should let you know immediately"
"Hmm, what happened, Ashley?" Frost asks
So we probably shouldn’t talk about it here; it might involve you-know-who, Ashley says
Frost nods his head, and the two go into a separate private room
Ashley then explains everything that Clover told her, and Frost is immediately curious.
"That’s interesting. Hmm, can I come and see him?" Frost asks
"Yeah, I will ask Clover to whitelist you."
"Alright."
