A poem about two tragic not- and never-would-be lovers.

Notes:
This is brand-new territory for me, an attempt at a contrapuntal poem about Rin and Nezha, and my God, was it difficult. Poets are built different.
Summer classes are over, and the school year is about to begin for me: for once, not as a student, but as a special education teacher! I know, breaking news: local queer neurodivergent writer becomes an English teacher; also: fork found in kitchen. But hey, I love my job. Hope that I somehow manage to scrape by some fanfic writing time in between trying to dodge bites and meltdowns.
