“Wow, trial 12, already?” Twice exclaimed, “You two are a bunch of fucking nerds,” he finished.
Tenko and Izuku often played co-op games together. They liked to beat the story modes in record time. Tonight, they were playing The Outlast Trials. Izuku brought his Playstation over because multiplayer wasn’t available on one console.
The brothers have been at it since 8:00 PM, and it is now 10:34 PM. Most of the League had gone to their respective rooms, save for the ones who don’t even come back until sunrise. A few of the members had popped down for a drink at the bar or a snack from the fridge, but really, it’s been silent for most of the night.
“Yes! We really want to beat this game tonight,” Izuku beamed in response.
“Yeah, we aren’t fucking nerds, we just have our priorities straight,” Tenko finished for him.
Twice just stared at them. He still wasn’t sure why this UA student was constantly visiting their hideout, but if Shigaraki didn't have a problem with it, then Twice would stay out of it. “Okay, just don’t dust the console again,” His gaze pointed to Tenko, “Shigaraki.”
Tenko just glared at him.
Izuku laughed, “Don’t worry, I’ll keep him in check.”
Twice looked satisfied with that answer and headed back to his room.
The two of them continued to play for hours. They weren’t even keeping track of time. Izuku yawned, and Tenko took notice of that. He paused the trial they were on and turned to his younger brother.
“Izu, do you want to go home? We can finish this tomorrow.”
“Absolutely not, Tenko-nii,” he protested through his yawns, “we are beating this game. If anything, I’ll just sleep on the couch. Nobody will care.”
Tenko hummed in response and went to unpause the game. That was, until they heard the door behind them open. Tenko stiffened, not knowing who was there. Izuku offered to investigate for him.
He slowly crept toward the door. When he reached the open door, nobody was there. He noticed two figures standing just outside the frame. One of them was noticeably Dabi. Izuku let out a sigh of relief. He wasn't quite sure who the second person was, so he hid behind a cardboard box and listened in to the conversation.
“Baby, nobody is awake at this hour, you’ll be fine. Besides, we can’t go back to your place. It's too risky right now,” Dabi reassured whoever the second person was.
“I know, I know, but what if I,” the second voice hesitated, “what if I get murked or something? I bet you Shigaraki is awake right now.”
Izuku nodded to himself in acknowledgment. This person knew his brother, and was obviously scared of him. They sounded like a male too. They sounded familiar, actually. It was on the tip of his tongue, but he couldn’t quite place it.
“It’s okay, my love. Look, tonight will be a good night. I stole Jiffy-pop from the mini market, and we have 10 Things I Hate About You on DVD.”
The other voice giggled softly, “that’s my favorite movie.”
“I know, that’s why I got it baby,” Dabi said.
This was absolutely disgusting to watch, and Izuku couldn’t bare it anymore. He went back to the makeshift living room and just waited for Dabi to come inside.
“Who was it?” Tenko questioned.
“It was Dabi and his boyfriend, I think,” he shrugged.
“The fuck you mean ‘you think’?”
“Well I knew it was Dabi! I didn’t know who the other dude was. It was disgusting, Dabi was all like ‘it’s okay baby’ and the other one was like ‘oh, I love you so much dadd—,” as Izuku was giving his brother a replay of what happened, the two people in question walked into the living room.
They stared deadpan at Izuku. He could feel their gazes burning holes in his skull, and he refused to face them. They definitely heard his retell of their obviously private conversation.
“Dabi, what the actual fuck,” Tenko shouted.
“I’m not sure what you’re talking about,” he said.
Izuku turned around, and he finally found out who Dani’s mysterious boyfriend was. It was… Hawks? Hawks looked just as shocked as him.
“Deku, what the hell are you doing here with the League?” Hawks pressed, concern laced his voice. He knew he couldn’t get caught up, but he wouldn’t let a UA student be harmed because of his own selfishness.
“I could ask you the same thing,” Izuku scoffed.
He stammered, looking cornered. Didn’t he get media training for this?
Hawks looked stressed, “Don’t tell me you’re a villain now.”
“Um, no? I'm just enjoying game night with my broth—bro. My bro, best pal, my buddy” he responded.
Tenko still looked pissed. He turned towards Dabi, “So, you’re fucking Hawks?”
The couple flushed (or, as red as Dabi could get) and were at a loss for words.
“Yeah let’s talk about that,” Izuku smirked, “how long have you guys been together?”
“Is it serious?” Tenko asked.
“Who’s the top? Or do you guys switch? Honestly, I feel like Hawks would top,” Izuku wondered aloud.
“Hmm, you’re onto something there, Izu,” Tenko agreed, “Dabi is a pussy. A bitch boy if you will.”
“Alright, stop,” Dabi interrupted, “Look, you guys can’t tell anybody about this. Absolutely nobody. If you can keep our secret, we’ll keep yours.”
Izuku laughed, “What’s our secret?”
“The fact that you and Shigaraki are biological brothers,” Hawks snarked. And with that, the couple walked off, presumably into Dabi’s room.
Tenko and Izuku shared a look.
“Hawks is a bitch,” Izuku said.
“Tell me about it,” the other grumbled
