Summary
A Hastoria espionage thriller, inspired by Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
In 2002, the Ministry of Magic responds to reports of blood-purist extremism influencing the International Confederation of Wizards by forming The Service, an intelligence organisation built to suppress the dangerous ideology.
In 2007, Harry Potter is teaching Defence Against the Dark arts, having been forced to resign from The Service in disgrace after an operation gone wrong. He is approached by an old friend and a young Service analyst named Astoria Greengrass to investigate reports that there has been a mole operating at the highest levels of The Service for years.
Damaged and paranoid, can Harry and Astoria work together to uncover the mole's identity? And can they do it without pesky, human emotions getting in the way?
