Garrick and i are walking down the corridor it's late after a marked meeting it's also pretty awkward. For some unknown reason, we've both chosen silence .We're just walking, no destination. Really, this is so awkward. I look up at the ceilings, the walls, everything .He coughs, and it sounds like a really fake cough.
Then I remember I have gum. "Gum?" I ask garrick turns to me with a face of pure horror "weird thing to ask" he says I look at him confused "how I was just asking go be friendly" I say even more confused he just looks even more awkward "Okay still an odd thing to randomly offer" he says I gape at him "how is that an odd thing i offer it to like everyone?" I say genuinely what goes through this man's head "no you don't. I would know, " he says. Shaking his head, i reach into my pocket and pull out the pack of gum "gods why are you so weird about gum?" I snap, garrick looks at the gum in my hand, then back at me, his mouth opening, then closing before he nearly falls over laughing."What's so funny?" I ask genuinely confused. He's basically weezing at this point."I thought you said something else, " he says in between laughs. "What did you think i said?" I ask he looks at me for a few seconds, trying not to laugh, and then it hits me I shake my head,"you dirty minded freak,"I say, but im laughing now too.
"Wait but seriously I actually want gum want flavour is it?" He asks I don't know actually i look down at the pack peppermint "peppermint so like spicy mint but not that spicy" I say awkwardly it's getting awkward again I want a dragon to eat me alive "no need to explain peppermint to me" he says I nod im so odd gods help me "can you blow bubbles?" He asks, I glance at him "yeah i feel like anyone over the age of fourteen can," I say, glancing at him again he shakes his head."I can't it's my biggest shame" he says faking sadness looking down kicking the air and all I burst out laughing "your lying" I say he looks at me and shakes his head "no i swear I'm not ask bodhi or xaden I have gone through torture because of it" he says I study his face no way Garrick Tavis can't blow a bubble i shake my head again "no way" I mumble still looking at him garrick places a hand to his chest "I Garrick Harold Tavis cannot blow a bubble with gum" Garrick says completely serious now i snort "why now?" I ask garrick looks down again doing the sad act "I was never taught" he says dramatically then sighs just as dramatically.
I hand him a peice of gum "show me your best attempt atleast" I say garrick sighs but takes it and starts chewing way to aggressively "what are you doing?" I ask garrick glances at me "making sure it knows I can hurt it" he says dryly I snort weirdest man I've ever met he clearly starts trying to blow a bubble and I must admit its sad he mostly just sticking his tounge out i start laughing I can't even help myself garrickstops walking "stop laughing" he says I keep laughing while he stands there staring at me "im sorry you just look so stupid" I say gasping for air from how much I'm laughing he shoves ms slightly "your so mean to me" he says with fake offence i shake my head garrick nods. "General question why did no one teach you?" I ask amused as we walk garrick sighs "xaden tried to once when we were ten his tenth birthday actually before it all went down and i got it in his hair he had to cut it and all he has not forgiven me yet" he says dramatically. "I see why way to ruin a man's birthday" I say garrick snorts "fine who taught you?" He asks I think back "the obvious got builled by my older sister and all my older cousins into learning its affective one can only take so many gumbo dumbos before they learn" I say just as dramatically as he'd been earlier "no way that was your nickname what age?" He asks I sigh "I seven i think" I mutter garrick starts laughing uncontrollably again I smack him "im using that for now on" he says basically dying of laughter i roll my eyes.
