Summary
Eddie's heart sinks. He scrubs his hands down his face and bites his lip so hard he tastes blood, to prevent himself from doing something stupid, like calling out for Buck or begging him to stay, after he all but dragged him out of his house. It takes a moment longer before he hears his front door open, then click closed. He let's out a breath he didn't even realize he was holding.
He stands there for what could be five seconds or five hours, either way it feels like a lifetime. He's not sure what to do with himself. He probably just ruined one of the most important relationships in his entire life because of how goddamn stupid he is. What does someone do after they ruin everything?
