Jihoon's eyebrows shoot up. "Have you seen the age range of my students?" His oldest student is eleven.
"Yes. But… I am a beginner, so... same difference?”
“You’re a beginner firebender?” Jihoon feels the need to clarify. The stranger nods. “Were you not born a firebender?”
“Oh, um…” The guilty expression makes its way back onto his face. “I’m a late bloomer…?”
