Chapter Text
Chloe sits in her shared dorm. She’s at her desk while Red and Hazel are both on Red’s bed. They had been discussing plans for a picnic for a while now. Well, mainly Chloe. Red and Hazel were just snuggling together on the bed.
“We’d have it through afternoon to evening, right?” Red asked Chloe who was making notes.
“Yep! Soo..should we have the picnic at the Enchanted Park? How about that?”
Hazel shook her head, “ there’s too many people there. If you want to relax then no can do.”
Red nodded along in agreement to Hazel, “I’d say..the Willow Tree Park. It’s a lot more quieter. And there’s the large tree for shade.”
Chloe checked her phone’s gps to see where this park was, even she never heard of it, “oh! It’s actually really close!”
”So, it’s good?” Red asks.
”I think so. Though, not a lot of us really know about the place and may not know where to go and everything..”
”We’ll just give them the directions,” Hazel shrugs, “it’ll be fine.”
Chloe sighs. She gets up from her chair to move to Red’s bed. She places herself next to Hazel and puts her head to the pirate’s shoulder.
Red pulls out her phone, “so, who are we inviting?”
Chloe turns her head to see Red, “everyone in the group chat.”
”Even Luis?” Hazel asks.
Red, who just began typing, stopped. “What’s wrong with Luis?” She tilted her head.
Hazel sighs, “Well, first of all, he’s your ex, second of all, he’s not even at Auradon right now, he’s visiting his home, and third of all-” she cuts herself off before she could say the third reason.
”And third of all?” Red questions.
Chloe had lifted her head up at this point, curious to know, “do you not like him?”
The pirate shrugged, “I don’t know..he’s stupid..and annoying..”
“Fair..but he’s still our friend,” Red chimed in, “plus, he can help bring everything back to the cars when done. Also, I don’t care if he’s my ex, we’re still friends.”
Chloe nodded, “And something else that’s really important!”
The two others looked over at the bluenette, “And that is?” Hazel tilted her head.
Chloe leans over and whispers into Hazels ear. A smile that’s a mix of shock and laughter curls onto her face, “okay, he can come. But he’s still not at Auradon.”
”Pink and I are picking him up tomorrow from the airport, we can have the picnic either then or the day after,” the redhead said.
”Perfect! Can you ask the group chat about which day is preferred? Chloe asks.
”Not until you tell me what you just told Hazel.”
Chloe laughed as she leaned past Hazel to Red and whispered. Her eyes widened as a smirk appeared, “Well. I wasn’t expecting that, but there’s a lot I can do with it.”
”So, start telling everyone?” Chloe asked again.
Red nodded and got back to typing on her phone.
