Chapter Text
When Harry Potter received the letters back, he didn't expect much, truthfully. Except he couldn't help but wonder how it would be like to have been raised by someone who would care. Someone who could get him out of the Dursley's house... someone who could let him be a teenager and not have to worry about this bloody war.
He had seen the Prophet, 'Lady' Gaunt with the little heir and an escort out and doing their business. Hadris Gaunt... was lovely and he wouldn't normally say that about a male, but Hadris Gaunt... really was pretty even though he couldn't see the colors of the man due to the parchment's black and white photos.
Harry had seen his classmates, male and female, coo and giggle at the photograph... It was insanity, how well 'Lady' Gaunt was taken to.
He couldn't believe, but at the same time he really wanted to... 'Lady' Gaunt looked kind.

Hadris Gaunt gave his Lord Husband a bland look when the other man held Thomas away from himself, when the toddler decided to spit up some milk. He almost snorted but thought otherwise Thomas giggled madly.
His husband sighed deeply as he waved a hand and the spit up vanished from his deep green robes, "He's certainly yours..."
Harry covered his mouth as he hid a slight amused smile and reached out for Thomas who squeaked upon seeing his mother, "Ma! Mama!"
"Yes, my little prince?" Harry carried his son on his hip; the toddler was getting big enough for him to do so.
Thomas merely giggled as he patted Harry's cheek and looked to his father who was watching with cautious, but curious and almost... warm eyes.
Harry smiled softly as he hummed a tune to Thomas who relaxed against his mother and under his father's watchful eyes. The older man pulled out his yew wand as he conjured a bit of light snakes as it eased the baby into a light nap.
