You don't deserve forgiveness, Catnap.
Neither of us do.
We're one in the same.
You're a monster.
We both are.
They shouldn't have forgiven you.
Dogday should've thrown you out.
Crafty should've abandoned you when she had the chance.
She should've left you to die.
If it weren't for you, Bobby wouldn't be in the hospital.
If it weren't for you, your parents would still be around.
If it weren't for you, your brother would've gotten a chance to grow up.
But he didn't.
And he never will.
Because you're a fuckup, Catnap.
And you always have been.
You sicken me.
Those so-called friends of yours should've dropped you years ago.
Dogday should've left you in prison.
The Doctor should've ended it right then and there.
I wish he didn't stop you on that bridge.
You would've died regardless.
You're a monster. You're an awful person.
You deserve absolutely nothing.
And yet, they still trust you.
..Why do they trust you? Do you know?
I don't.
They're stupid, from the sounds of it. Anyone with a brain would've ran for the hills.
But they didn't.
Dogday didn't. Crafty didn't. Bobby didn't, either.
Rabie should've told them to leave you there. Baba should've put her foot down and stopped Dogday from getting you out.
You deserve what happened to you.
So why do they stick around?
You don't deserve it.
You don't deserve their help.
You don't deserve their friendship.
..So why won't they leave?
You aren't worth sticking around for. So, why do they do it?
Why stay around someone who's only caused you pain in all the time you've known them?
Beats me.
Your friends aren't very smart people, Catnap.
Our friends aren't.
They're pretty dumb, if you ask me.
No one with self preservation would actually stay around someone like you, willingly.
You'd have to be friends with some pretty ignorant people for that to happen.
They're too forgiving.
Especially to someone like you.
..Does it bring you joy? Knowing that they still have some faith in you, after everything?
It shouldn't.
You don't deserve their trust. Or friendship.
They shouldn't even give you the light of day.
And yet? They do.
They shouldn't.
But they do anyway.
Do you feel the weight of your sins crawling down your back?
Do you feel remorse for everything that's happened?
Do you carry the guilt and shame upon your shoulders for all the lives you've ruined?
Good.
You should.
You should suffer for every bit of pain you've inflicted onto so many people over the years.
I hope it catches up to us, and soon.
A monster like you shouldn't be allowed to walk freely, Catnap.
Sawyer should've kept you in that ‘cage.’
After all, animals deserved to be caged.
Ones like you, anyway.
