In this world there are stories of 'True Mates' mates that predetermined by biology for one another. Very few exist and no one is aware they are 'True Mates' until their mate is met.

Yet one day a few weeks ago he started smelling scents and working towards nesting.” Felix nodded. “That is part of ‘True Mates’, the omegas not presenting till after they met their mates. “If I told you your best friend had met their ‘True Mate’ how would you react?” The room was quiet. “Exactly. I knew his mate would arrive in the next few days and everything would be explained.”
“How did I know to come?” Minho asked.
“It’s how True Mates work. You could spend all your time apart, never seeing each other at all, but when either his heat or your rut hits the other will just…know. I know a few True Mates couples that only spend their heats and ruts together, the rest of the time live their own lives.”
