Eat. Eat. Eat.

Summary:

Shedletsky loves food.

Let’s examine that statement a little further.

Or: Shedletsky does not have a good relationship with food, in case the tags didn’t make that clear.

Work Text:

It’s no secret that Shedletsky loves food. He can be convinced to do anything if food is involved. The survivors all know this.

They all have different opinions on it, of course. Some find it disgusting, some find it to be simply a trait, no good or bad feelings attached.

But, of course, Shedletsky’s perspective is the most important.

Shedletsky loves food. He needs it. He needs to eat. If he doesn’t eat now, when will he eat again? The ability to eat is precious, you must use it whenever you can. Nothing should be wasted.

Food is treasure, it is life, it is praise. Food is a gift that can be taken away at any moment, and you must use it when you can.

When TwoTime is fasting, Shedletsky eats their portion. When someone drops something, Shedletsky will eat it even if they won’t. Nobody has noticed yet, how after dinner he collects the food scraps to “help clean” only for those scraps to not end up in the trash.

Shedletsky worries the food will stop one day. He will not let himself waste anything that may be stolen.
