They did it… after a couple of failed attempts, the "Fun gang" was able to defeat Flowery.
Needless to say, the battle was more difficult than they anticipated. Ralsei had to retreat, Susie threw Kris into the Dark Source and climbed up, where they had an epic final showdown with Flowery.
Despite Flowery's efforts to convince Kris and their friends not to seal the dark fountain, he lost; he couldn't stop them. Not only that, but his best friend, Asgore, admitted that everything that happened during their divorce was his fault and officially abandoned his search for the person responsible.
Although Flowery tried to convince Asgore to stay and not let them seal the Dark Fountain, Asgore told him that he could no longer run away from the real world—his world—or continue obsessing over something that everyone had already said wasn't his fault. He also thanked Flowery for reminding him what it was like to receive unconditional love from another person. But he had to go back…
After all… someone has to take care of those flowers.
Although it took Flowery a while to understand and accept it, he finally understood that keeping Asgore in that world against his will wasn't right. Besides… he was his best friend. What kind of friend would he be if he didn't support a decision that would help him and his family?
Flowery: "Heh… well, can't argue with that, oldbuddy."
Flowery stood up as he and Asgore began walking towards the Dark Fountain. Before leaving, he turned to look at Kris with their friends. A melancholic smile played on the Flower Man's face, knowing full well that… his dream and that of his friends was coming to an end.
Flowery: "Come on, it seems it's time to close the Dark Fountain and… say goodbye."
The Fun Gang followed Flowery and Asgore until they reached… the Dark Fountain. Right beside the two friends, the other flowers appeared.
Aqua, Orange, Blue, Seth, Green, and Yellow. Although they expected sad faces, there were smiles of tranquility and… gratitude. The first to speak was Susie, who looked somewhat sadly at the ground.
Susie: "Fuck... I... I'm sorry, guys, I wish there was another way to do this without you... have to..."
Susie finally looked up and saw Blue. At that moment, she remembered when he helped them pick flowers for Noelle.
The lizard girl looked at Ralsei with a pleading expression, hoping he would tell her if there was a way they could go to Castle Town.
Ralsei glanced sideways at Susie. He noticed her sad, pleading face, understanding what she was trying to ask, but the prince of darkness simply looked sadly at the ground and shook his head in refusal.
After all... flowers are very delicate. Unlike the other inhabitants who were inanimate objects like cards, computers or pieces of boardgames, the 6 were flowers, which in essence were living beings. They required very strict care at all times, the slightest neglect could mean their death in the world of light, and a closet was not the right place for a flower, much less 7 flowers.
Susie stared helplessly at the ground after seeing Ralsei's gesture, her fists clenched tightly. However, her thoughts were interrupted when she heard the innocent voice of Aqua, the sky-blue flower.
Aqua: "Uuu, I don't quite understand what's going on, but... playing with you guys was so much fun! We should play again very soon!"
Everyone (except Kris) smiled with a touch of melancholy, knowing that this last suggestion wouldn't be possible.
Then the fun gang noticed someone pull out a small sign. It was Green, who, being mute, shared their dreams with them through the sign.
Green: *They wanted to be a chef to cook and know the taste of many foods.*
Finally, Green gives them a warm and kind smile of gratitude and approval, like they were happy that the fun gang succeed in winning.
The next to speak was Yellow, the cowboy of justice. He smiled and scratched his head.
Yellow: "I know it sounds silly and all, but… I just wanted to be a cowboy. Well, was I a good one, Blue?"
With a nervous smile, he looked at his partner, Blue, the butterfly dancer, who smiled tenderly and took her beloved's hand.
Blue: "You were the best cowboy this world could ever give, Yellow. I wanted to move, to feel, to know what love was in my limbs. But even though it's over… love will always be there."
With a smile, both Yellow and Blue joined their foreheads together, happy but with a touch of sadness, knowing this will be the last time they'll be able to be so close.
Next to speak was Orange, the small, cowardly, but adorable little mouse who covered her face with her tiny hands. Finally, she decided to reveal her face, showing that several tears were streaming down her cheeks.
Orange: "I-I wanted to be brave… and fight to protect what I loved. Was I brave?!"
At that moment, someone took the little mouse in her arms. It was Flowery, who gave her a small, reassuring smile.
Flowery: "Of course you were, Ori. Hardly anyone would stand up to such large beings to protect those they love. You were braver than you think."
Orange felt more tears streaming down her face as she wiped them away with her small boxing glove, but she also smiled a little with pride.
And the last flower… Seth, the purple erudite abode. Her sadness at not being able to fulfill her dream was more evident; she stared at the ground, unsure what to say. But finally, after a long sigh, she looked at the fun gang with a smile of gratitude and sadness as she adjusted her glasses.
Seth: While I still could, I would have liked to know… everything! Heh, of course, in the end I didn't become the genius I wanted to be, but… I'd like to think I learned a lot!
Finally… Seth gives to Kris, Susie and Ralsei a last message that speaks for her others flowers friends.
Seth: Thank you for watching our dreams…
Once everyone had finished saying their goodbyes, Flowery decided to give one last message as she placed Orange on Green's shoulder.
Flowery: Flowers have dreams too; the darkness allowed us to fantasize more consciously. But dreams are just that… Dreams. Heh, it's time this capricious reverie came to an end. Kris… the Fountain is waiting for you.
Flowery and the flowers stepped aside to let Kris pass. First, Asgore stopped their kid, placing his big hand on their little shoulder and looking at the human with a sweet, genuine smile.
Asgore: Kris… honestly, I don't know what's happening here or how this is possible. But you should know that after seeing everything you did here… I'm very proud of you, my son.
And for a second, Kris's serious, emotionless expression softened, and then… a small smile appeared.
Kris approached and… prepared to close the Dark Fountain. Their soul left his body, they approached the gigantic column of dark energy, and a great white light enveloped everyone.
The seven flowers held hands and closed their eyes… accepting their tragic fate as the light consumed them.

Kris and Susie opened their eyes, expecting to return to Asgore's flower shop with him...
...but when they opened their eyes... they realized their clothes hadn't changed, and furthermore... they were on the same platform where the Dark Fountain had been, which had disappeared. They sealed it... but they were still there...
Susie: "Huh?! What the heck?"
Asgore: "Um... Kris. We were supposed to go back to the flower shop, weren't we?"
Flowery: "Hey… what did just happened…?"
Susie and Asgore quickly turned around, shocked to see the seven flowers… still in their “human” bodies. They all looked at each other, very confused, and let go of each other’s hands before touching their bodies.
Seth: "Umm, weren’t we supposed to turn back into flowers?"
Yellow: "Maybe… Kris did something wrong?"
Blue: "I don’t think so… I think they did a great job."
Aqua: "Uuu, how mysterious."
Orange: "I can't believe it… I CRIED LIKE A BABY AND SHOW WEAKNESS FOR NOTHING?! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT, GREEN?!"
Green: *Denied with the head, very confused as well*
Susie was shocked and speechless. This had never happened before, at least not when they were in the Cyber World or the first time they were in the Dark World. Both times Kris sealed the Dark Source, they returned to the Light World. She looked at Kris, searching for an answer.
Susie: "K-Kris, what the fuck happened? S-Shouldn't we have gone back to your dad's shop or something?"
Flowery: "Hmm, maybe we just have to wait a little until---"
Ralsei: "No… no, no, no, no, no…"
Everyone turned to look at Ralsei and saw something on his face they had never seen before… horror.
Ralsei was often frightened, but usually it was a comical or minor fear… this kind of fear… was absolute terror. His entire body was shaking as his mouth was trying to say something coherent.
Ralsei: "I-If we're here… it means… but how? I didn't… or it was behind the castle? B-But I didn't see it while we fight against Flowery! Maybe I was… N-NO… that's impossible!"
Susie looked his friend very worried, so she slowly gets close to him and try to calm him down.
Susie: "W-Wow, Ralsei, calm down. Are you okay, man? You look very---"
Susie was interrupted when the Dark Prince rushed towards her and grabbed her shoulders, looking extremely frightened and worried.
Ralsei: "S-Susie! Did you see another Dark Fountain on the way here?! Or while we were fighting Flowery?! Or did you see something that looked like it?! PLEASE, REMEMBER AND TELL ME!"
Susie was more shocked and worried than before. She had never seen Ralsei in this state, so she took his hands to stop him from squeezing so tightly.
Susie: "R-Ralsei! Calm down for a second, man! I-I don't know what the hell you're talking about! I didn't see any other Dark Fountain besides this one! What the hell is wrong with you?!"
Ralsei, however, didn't respond. Instead, he removed his hands from Susie's grip and clutched his head, very agitated. He then looked at the seven flowers, who were staring at him with different expressions: confused, worried, and even a little scared. In that second, a horrifying revelation came.
Ralsei: "OH NO!!!"
Ralsei turned to his two friends, even more frightened than before.
Ralsei: "S-SUSIE, KRIS! WE HAVE TO SEAL THE OTHER DARK FOUNTAIN BEFORE---!"
Asgore: "WATCH OUT!"
Everyone was surprised when Asgore suddenly ran towards Ralsei and Susie, then shoved them, causing them to fall next to Kris. The second he pushed them both, a white slash appeared and struck the king of that world, knocking him roughly to the ground. While the blow wasn't fatal, it did leave him unconscious. This attack lasted less than 3 seconds, but it left everyone present stunned.
Susie: "WHAT THE FUCK?!"
The seven flowers (especially Flowery) rushed to Asgore, worried sick, to check on him and see if he was alright.
Seven Flowers: "ASGORE!!"
While the flowers were taking care of their king, the fun gang turned to where the attack comes from… and there, they would watch them…
A skinny black being, a tall, slender, and extremely thin figure, deep black with a white outline. With a wore a diamond-shaped helmet with an opening reminiscent of a visor, shaped like a frog's mouth. Two long protrusions extended from the sides of the helmet that looks like three-pronged antlers. It's body was thin and angular, with large triangular shoulder pads, an extremely narrow waist, prominent, jagged hips, and pointed legs with no discernible feet.
Susie and the flowers looks surprised by the appearance the being had, they never watch such a creature like that. The mysterious being had on his left hand a black sword while it was floating with a penetrating breath
The purple girl looked to Ralsei in search of an answer.
Susie: "R-Ralsei… w-who is that guy?!"
Ralsei however looks terrified by that being, he knew he was, and use the few valor he had left to pronounce two words…
Ralsei: The Knight…
Susie remains still, trying to process the revelation she just heard.
The Knight, since they arrived, many darkners talked about them… The King, Jevil, The Queen, Spamton. But the most important thing is that, according to King and Queen, the Knight creates the Dark Fountain that Kris sealed before. Technically speaking, the knight was the reason of everything, The queen, unknowingly about to begin what would be the end of the world, the king dethroning the other kings of the home of Ralsei and ruling as a tyrant…
Susie couldn't hide her nervousness, but then she looked at Ralsei, who was terrified, at the flowers still trying to wake Asgore, and at Kris… who, despite showing no emotion, she could see a bead of sweat trickling down his face. Susie knew they were all in danger, so there was one thing left she could do… Susie drew her axe and got into a fighting stance… that one thing was FIGHTING.
Susie: "Well, what are we waiting for? It's time to finally kick that idiot's ass!"
Ralsei was about to protest when suddenly… the knight, with terrifying speed, transformed into a winged creature and swiftly swept aside the flowers to… grab Asgore and start to leave, kidnapping Kris's dad.
Susie: "WHAT THE HELL?! HEY, COME BACK HERE!"
Susie tried to follow the knight, but it was useless since the knight flew off the platform, and of course… since Susie can't fly, no one can catch him… or so they thought…
Flowery: "I'll take care of it!"
Without hesitating for a second, Flowery started running at great speed after the knight as a rainbow band appeared behind him. With each step he took, he summoned golden flowers that served as a floor for him to run on in mid-air.
Flowery: "Sorry, buddy! But you can't go faster than a flower!"
The flower man smiled with confidence and pride as he approached the Knight. The latter decided to increase their speed while still carrying Asgore's body. However… they were so focused on surpassing Flowery's speed that they didn't notice the wall in front of him in time before crashing.
The clash caused the Knight to revert to his original signature, and for a split second he released Asgore, but quickly trapped him in a black orb he summoned.
In that split second, Flowery emerged from behind a lamppost, calm and collected, sporting his typical confident smile.
Flowery: "Heh, what a predictable creature. Leaving so soon? You're not the only one who can start a fight!"
At that moment, Flowery summoned a regular enemy to begin a battle, including the Knight.
Using his fake stats, Flowery maxed out his TP and spared the regular enemy, leaving only himself and the Knight as the flower man struck a dramatic pose.
Flowery: "Since you're in a fight, you can't run from me now, my friend. Now take this! JARONA!"
Flowery unleashed a barrage of Jarona kicks on the Knight at incredible speed.

Flowery posed as the Knight's body trembled, the flower man smiling proudly.
Flowery: "So? What do you think of my JARONA kick?"
But at that moment, Flowery felt an attack coming and quickly dodged, only to see how the Knight, with a single flick of his sword, made all the damage inflicted change to -0. Flowery was clearly surprised by this.
Flowery: "Can you... ignore my stats?"
Despite the initial surprise, Flowery hid both hands in his pockets with a smile.
Flowery: "Heh, not bad, not bad. But I have more combos to show you! Let's go, then!"
Flowery and the Knight leaped into combat and were about to clash attacks when suddenly... a magic bullet appeared and forced the knight back.
Flowery, surprised, stopped and looked back to see... his 6 flower friends. The flower boy was even more surprised but also... worried.
Flowery: "Guys! It's very dangerous! Why are you here?"
Orange: "We're here to support you! We're not afraid of that idiot!"
Green: *Nods*
Blue: "That horrible creature kidnapped our king! We can't let him go!"
Yellow: "He's a terrible criminal who deserves to be judged properly!"
Aqua: "Woohoo! Kicking his butt will be fun!"
Seth: "It's like you said, after everything Asgore did for us, saving him is the least we can do!"
Flowery looked at his friends, surprised and moved… but above all, he felt their DETERMINATION to defeat the Knight.
Flowery chuckled softly and turned the Knight around with a calm demeanor.
Flowery: "Hehehe, who needs stats? When you have your friends with you?! EVERYONE, FOR ASGORE!"
At that moment, the bodies of the six flowers spun around Flowery until there was a blinding light. Once the light faded, Flowery's entire body glowed like a rainbow while his now silver hair shone like a lightbulb.
Flowery: "OMEGA FLOWERY! NOW YOU WILL SEE THE TRUE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP! JARONA!"
Flowery launched several kicks at the Knight's body, inflicting the same damage. The Knight moved their sword to ignore the fake stats, and they succeeded, turning -999 back to -0, but…

The Knight's visor thickened slightly; they were surprised to have suffered real damage. Flowery smiled with pride and happiness at this.
Flowery: "Surprised? Maybe you can ignore my fake stats! But not my friends'! HERE I COME SAN FRANDISCOOO!"
Just like with Kris, Flowery propelled himself toward the Knight with a massive explosion behind him, leaving the mysterious being with only one option: to defend itself with his sword.
Upon receiving the first impact, they stumbled back slightly, and Omega Flowery decided to unleash his ultimate attack. His body glowed an intense white, like a beacon of hope, as he charged again at the Knight, who blocked the attack with his sword. Both combatants struggled to subdue the other. Flowery pushed with all his might to break the Knight's sword and defeat them.
In that instant, reflections or apparitions of his six flower friends appeared beside him, helping him push with even more force. All the flowers… were united to defeat a common enemy and save their king.
Flowery: "NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND? THIS IS… THE TRUE POWER… OF A FLOWER'S DREAM!"
For a second, the Knight looked down, and Flowery thought he was about to defeat them! They could actually defeat them! They could save Asgore! They could win!
That's what Flowery thought until… the Knight looked back at him, and because of the distance, he could finally see what appeared to be an eye… an eye that reflected an emotion…
…boredom…
Flowery: Huh? What---?

One cut… one simply cut.
That was all the Knight needed when they gets tired of this "game" and decides to ends everything… by cutting Flowery's body in half.
A few golden petals sprouted from his shattered body as he plummeted into the void, not with the speed of a human, but slowly and gently… like a flower…
As he fell, Flowery was shocked and, above all, ashamed. He had failed.
He saw the Knight leave and vanish with Asgore, still unconscious. He simply smiled with pain and sadness…
Flowery: “Heh… pathetic, is it not? I cannot save even my best friend.”
In that moment, Flowery felt something inside of him. It was something big, something he never felt before, it was something that wanted him to keep living… it was…
Flowery: (I see… so this is the power of… the determination to keep living and fulfill my dreams?)
Flowery finally stop falling and his body shattered in two ends up in front a pink flower. The flower man use his last strength to appears he was "sitting". At least that was a more comfortable position. Many little golden flowers appears from his mortal wounds.
Flowery: (But… this power, wish, will of keep living is useless when you're in this position. I know what to do with it then…)
In that second, the shiny body of Flowery returns to his normal state while his 6 flower friends get out of his body and return to their respective bodies, they all fall to the ground. The first to get up was Orange who quickly looked to where the Knight flied away very angry.
Orange: "What the---?! Hey! Come back here, coward! Where did he go?!"
Orange felt incredibly powerless and angry, so much so that he felt like crying from helplessness, but he held it back, telling himself he was brave. Yellow, meanwhile, picked up his hat and looked worriedly at where the Knight had gone with Asgore.
Yellow: "D-Don't desperate, Orange! Maybe we can just have to find some evidence and a clue that lead us to---"
Blue: OH MY GOD! FLOWERY!
Everyone's attention go to where Blue screamed. And there they would see a scene that will traumatize them all forever… they saw Flowery's body cutted in half.
Aqua: "E-Eh? Flo… wery…?"
Aqua looks surprised this, she looks Flowery's wound to then look his face many times. She doesn't have her iconic smile, she had… a serious but also nervous expression. She put both hands on her chest… trying to calm the inch she's feeling now.
Orange: (H-Huh?)
Orange felt everything freeze, her body trembled as her fists fell to the ground, her tail and ears followed. She tried to say something, but the pain of seeing Flowery was too much, so not a word came out of her mouth.
Blue: "N-No, oh god, no…"
Blue covered his mouth with both hands, completely terrified as he opened both eyes very wide and even one tear started to fall on his cheek. His body was shaking of fear by seeing his friend in that state.
Seth: "W-What…? B-But… but our… our final power… it's… it's…"
Seth clutched her head in both hands, shocked and horrified. She was convinced that if they fused into Omega Flowery they would win, that it was the best strategy; this scenario was the worst she could have imagined. She felt a titanic wave of guilt, because that was her idea.
Green: *Looks very surprised and extremely worried*
Without losing any second, Green gets close to their friend and invoque a cake to then give it to Flowery. They hoped that would be enough to save their friend… but despite it "cured" his superficial wounds, he was still in half. Green started to desperate very sad and scared and try to invoque another cake to then give it again to Flowery… but again, nothing changed.
Yellow: "No… no, this… this is not real… it's an trick so that criminal could escape, r-right Blue…?"
Yellow looked nervously at his partner, hoping he would tell him that everything was going to be alright, that everything would be okay. Blue always said that to him when something bad happened, to calm him down. But now… there was no response from Blue, there wasn't.
Green tried to create another cake in an attempt to cure Flowery. But before they could create it… Flowery stop them with his hand and give them a small and warm smile. He knew he had to talk to them about this now, before that event happened.
Flowery: "Please, don't waste your energy on me, Green. There are things that not even the best healers can heal. How about we have a last best friends meeting?"
Flowery gestured to his friends to come closer. They all slowly approached him, and even more worried upon hearing "Last," they sat down around him.
Orange: "H-Hey... Why did you say 'last'? Why did you say that?! C-Come on, man... you can get out of this!"
Blue: "Y-Yeah! This is supposed to be a comedy, not a tragedy! C-Come on, let me help you!"
Blue was about to summon rain, but... Flowery stopped her.
Flowery: "No, Blue, it's too late. I'm afraid... I'm about to experience it..."
Yellow: "Huh? T-Experience what, Flowery?"
Flowery looks Yellow, who take off his hat to show some respect.
Flowery: "I think I'm about to experience what humans calls… death"
There was a dreadful silence among the flowers upon hearing that last word. At that moment, a gust of wind stirred the leaves of the pink tree above them, and some of Flowery's petals swayed as well.
The six flowers gazed with glassy eyes at their best friend, who continued to smile softly but sweetly.
Flowery: "Listen, Kris and his friends have probably gone to seal the other Dark Fountain, so I might not have time to tell you. But when you see them, tell Susie and Kris that there's a flower bud on the windowsill next to Asgore's bed… a red flower. Please tell them to take care of it until it grows big and strong like all of us. And… tell Ralsei that despite our not-so-kind-talks, I never hated him and… I always felt admiration for him, for how he never gave up and always fought for the people he loved. And tell him that I would have wish that in other life we could have been best friends."
Everyone remains silent, everyone was ready to cry like they never did. Orange was one of the most nervous and try to figure out a plan to save his friend, not even notice some tears falls from his eyes.
Orange: "What?! No! You'll tell them by yourself! Come on, Flowery. J-Just wait a little, maybe if Ralsei, Blue and Green combine their healing powers. T-They can save you!"
Flowery: "No, Orange. Once a flower gets hurts like this, there's no turning back. After all, we're very delicate beings."
Orange was about to protest when they suddenly heard someone sobbing. Flowery turned around and saw something that touched his heart and surprised him, since he had never seen anything like it.
He saw Aqua crying… the poor cyan flower was wiping the tears from her three eyes with the sleeve of her light blue dress.
Aqua: "B-But… i-if you leave… Y-You won't be able to play with me or us anymore! That… that's not fun! I-I don't want that! Nobody wants that!"
Flowery: "Aqua…"
Aqua: "M-Maybe if I had taken the situation seriously! Maybe if I had stopped seeing everything as a game! Y-You wouldn't be---!"
Seth: "No, Aqua, it's not your fault… it's… It's my fault!"
Seth took off her glasses and began to cry uncontrollably, her voice filled with pain as she wiped away her tears.
Seth: "I-It was my idea! I suggested to the others that we fuse! I-I thought it was the best strategy! I-If only I weren't such an idiot! If only I hadn't opened my mouth! The Knight might have just stunned you and not taken you so seriously!"
Flowery: "Seth, Aqua!"
Both flowers looks Flowery and saw on his smile sadness and melancholy.
Flowery: Please, don't blame yourselves for things that were out of your control. Nobody imagine the Knight would be so powerful. So please… don't let that weight fall on you, you don't deserve that. None of you deserve it…
Yellow: "But why you?! Why you have to be the one who suffered a lot of pain?! It's no fair! It's not… it's… not…"
Yellow couldn't support it anymore and start to cry. Blue took Yellow's head and put it against his chest as he rub his back to give him comfort.
Flowery: "You're right. It's not fair… and I'm telling you this because. Once Kris and Susie seal the Dark Fountain. You'll face a lot of injustices, more than you can imagine. So here I am… to warn you and already telling what's coming."
Everyone looked to Flowery very confused, wondering what he's talking about.
Blue: "What… what are you talking about, Flowery? Once the Dark Fountain is sealed… we'll return to be flowers."
Flowery chuckles as he also cough a little with a small smile and then looks his friends.
Flowery: "Not really. Listen to me, while I was falling and saw that thing kidnapping Asgore, I felt something unique, it was a feeling of wanting to keep fighting, wanting to keep living… and above all, to fulfill my dreams. Now I realize that feeling is something that only true humans had… the determination… monsters have determination, but not so much like a human. This determination I had is enough to be a human… and now… I'm giving to you. You know what that means?"
The entire group of flower looks surprised by this revelation, but even more with Flowery question. Only one answer.
Green: *They shake their head*
Flowery: "It means that when the Dark Fountain is sealed and this realm disappeared. You'll return to the light world… but not as fragile, immobile flowers, instead… you'll wake up as real human. But you need to know that human's life is very hard, there'll be new emotions, new problems and new… types of pain. But also means you'll have new emotions, new chances and above everything… new dreams. So if you want to cry, cry. If you want to be scared, be scared. If you want to laugh, laugh. If you want to be happy, be happy. That is what will makes you human, so keep being humans and fulfill every dream you have! Keep living and have a lot of beautiful dreams! You already told me about your dreams… but now I have a new dream, and that is my friends can have a life as humans determinated to be fulfill their dreams. That's my dream"
Everyone was speechless, they didn't know what to said, they couldn't believe what Flowery just told them. They all… will become human, real humans. Even with his last breath, Flowery gives them something he'll never have, the chance of walk freely in a world full of chances.
