Summary
Simon the Butcher rose up to meet his fate with vicious defiance. He saved the black box, he killed the monster, and he looked into the face of God just to spit 'fuck you' into Its bloody cosmic Eye. That was supposed to be the end of it; a visceral, desperate end to a broken man who lived and breathed violence.
So when he awakens in the care of his own personal saving Grace, he's caught between disbelief, confusion, and a tiny glimmer of hope unlike any he'd felt since before the Quiet Rapture. Is it a mercy, or a new form of torture?
