Gabi loved building nest, he’s been building nest since he presented and loves it. Every hotel room, his driver room, his apartment wherever he was there was a nest. But now that him and Nico were courting it all felt differently, specially tonight when it was Nico’s first time sleeping over. Gabi was a little frantic about the whole situation. He needed this nest to be perfect, as it was the first time the alpha would he sharing a nest with him. Sure Nico’s seen some of Gabi’s nest but he’s never been inside one and Gabi wanted to make sure it was perfect so the alpha would want to continue courting him.
Gabi gathered all the blankets he could find, dropping them into a large pile in the middle of his floor. Like most omega’s his bed was just a mattress on the floor, much easier for nest making. Gabi spent hours making it perfect, rearranging blankets, pillows and clothes until Gabi like the way it was arranged. Nico should be coming soon and Gabi was getting anxious that the nest wasn’t good enough for the alpha. Gabi was anxiously pacing around his living room when the doorbell rang. Gabi rushed to answer the door, pulling it open to reveal Nico on the other side.
“Hey Gabs.” Nico said Gabi stepped aside and allowed the alpha to step into his house.
“I ordered dinner for us. It should be here soon.” Gabi blushed. He’s never been a good cook. His mom tried but he just never seemed to get it, and it always made him embarrassed being an omega who couldn’t cook for his alpha. Nico’s never seemed to mind in the few instances they’ve cook together. Nico always ends up cooking while Gabi sits pretty and watches.
“That’s perfect Gabi.” Nico stepped closed and pulled Gabi into a hug. The two were still standing in the entry way hugging when the bell rang. The two ate at Gabi’s kitchen island, ankles hooked together. When they were done Gabi knew it was time, the time he was waiting for and scared for all in one.
“Do you want to lay in my nest and watch a movie?”
“You’re inviting me into your nest?” Nico was surprised. He didn’t expect Gabi to open his nest to him tonight but was honoured to be invited.
“If you want. We can stay in the living room if you’d prefer.”
“No, please show me your nest. I’m sure it’s as beautiful as you.” Gabi blushed at Nico’s words. He took the alpha’s hand and guided him down the hallway to his bedroom. The door was already open so Gabi guided them right in, stopping at the edge of his bed.
“Here it is. Do you like it?” Gabi was waiting for Nico’s verdict, nervous that the alpha would hate it.
“It look beautiful, can I get in?”
“Yeah.” Gabi climbed in first and Nico climbed in after him. Gabi cautiously curled up against Nico’s side. The alpha welcomed him in, wrapping his arm around the omega. Gabi’s nose was very close to Nico’s neck, and he was able to take in the woodsy sent of the alpha. It didn’t take long for Gabi to fall asleep, the warmth from his nest and the alpha enough to make him feel safe and sleepy. Nico hugged the omega close to him, even once he was asleep. He just knew this was he omega for him.
