Clang, clang, clang...

Clang... Clang...

V was - albeit quietly - crawling through the ventilation shafts of Outpost 3, a very specific and calculated path already lit up in her head, not a second of hesitation on any turn or diversion.

Uzi's room.

V didn't check on her whereabouts before deciding to come, simply deducing she was probably cooped up in her room, either having one of her angsty days or working on something, meaning she was free game for V to have plenty of fun with. It helped that she massively missed the little purple toaster. If Uzi was sat doing homework, then, well, V would be there to get her out of that hellhole.

Then again, she didn't know whether 7 hours of uninterrupted schoolwork or 10 minutes with herself was worse at times.

...

Here it was.

The entrance to her room. V could see its light at the end of the tunnel.

V pondered her situation, and thought just pouncing into Uzi's room unprompted wouldn't be very clean, especially after how badly it spooked her the first and only time she tried.

...Well, that was probably because V had broken the vent grid right off its hinges to get in, which is why it has stayed open since, anyway.

V was kind of flattered to realise Uzi DID keep what she said about keeping it open so V could drop by and visit whenever in mind.

There wasn't time to play around, though, so V reached the opening, and peeked her head through.

"Uz! Heeeyy....?"

...

Where on Copper-9 was Uzi?

Her room was completely vacant, her lack of presence extremely apparent. It still had all the distinguishing features that screamed Uzi, but there was none of the life that she brought into it. Her headphones were simply plopped on the desk, not playing any music on the maximum volume, and the spinning chair she always got herself dizzy rotating on looked cold without her on it.

It was a strange anomaly to V, really. There wasn't any school nor work this late, so where could she possibly be...?

Maybe she should have just checked Uzi's location on the map before coming here...

Immediately calculating her next thought from that thought alone, V went to her internal interface to look for the dot that resembled her on the virtual map of this wreck of a city. V had customized it long ago to show in a bright, vibrant purple, to make it immediately stand out.

And sure enough, it did.

Uzi was still and unmoving inside of a far away abandoned store that V had marked as 'Dumb metal and piece place', a spot that housed all kinds of mechanical parts and technological pieces, all left untouched inside.

Why on Copper-9 was Uzi there? Was she just getting parts for-

ADMINISTRATOR (USERNAME: DARKXWOLF17) IN IMMINENT DANGER. LOCATE AND ASSIST IMMEDIATELY.

...

Oh, shit.

Shit, shit, shit!

What could've happened in there?!

Certainly panicked now, V physically wheeled back around despite the tight squeeze, bolting back the way she came and towards the exit from the branching shafts and, subsequently, the outpost.

The wind was howling. It remained punishing, but V soldiered on, immediately taking off and flying at breakneck speed, pushing her energy to the limit, as she glided as smoothly as possible to the barren hardware spot.

The purple dot did not move an inch on the map, remaining still and occasionally blinking. It gave V dreadful images of what might have happened to Uzi.

Did someone attack her?

Did something severely hurt her?

Was she even conscious right now??

Briefly losing control of her stable aviation, V shook her head and pushed all of the unpleasant scenarios out of her head, instead opting to just fly to help.

And in record time, she made her way to the store. From a distance, her systems made themselves familiar with there being an unsealed window frame, open for anyone to swoop right in. Uzi was a few meters away from that frame based off of V's estimations, being on the other side of the building.

V dove right in, arms outstretched forward, letting her wings fold and allow her a smooth landing, which she achieved.

Immediately halting her quick movement, V felt a little resistance, but was able to stop a foot away from a shelf inside, not slamming straight into anything. Pushing her glasses onto her visor, V's core was racing, the oil in her body hot and invigatorated, as she readied her firearms in place of her hands.

Taking a second to listen out for any potential ambushers, V tried sensing any movement, or noise, or any traces left by the potential attacker before running to Uzi. Her map did not locate strangers, after all. Only those she chose to mark and whom had a connection to her systems.

Sensing nothing, V peeked from behind the shelf to see Uzi, only to find her sat down on the wooden floor of the store, her back using the wall behind her for support, her eyes showing a weird mixture of sleepiness and deliriousness.

V immediately retracted all of her firepower and rushed to her.

"Uzi? You okay? What'd they do to you?!"

V took Uzi by the shoulders, gently shaking her just enough to snap her awake, only to be met with...

"...'Suuuup..."

...Huh?

"Uzi, are you okay?"

"Dude, 'courssss I am, hehe..."

V was snapped out of her horrible worry, now wildly confused, as she only now noticed the heat coming off of Uzi, and the steam that emitted from her.

...

Ohh, so she was... low on oil. That's why she looked drunk.

Letting out a sigh of relief, V now had a new - albeit smaller - issue to take care of.

"Uz, did you forget to have any oil before going out?" V said, her eyelights giving Uzi an unimpressed but amused expression.

"I dunno, but, lllike, maybe...? Uuuhh, I just wan'ed sum'ing..." Uzi sheepishly replied, her head slightly tilting, as if she was still trying to determine something that seemed more important to her.

"Which was?" V replied, lowering one digital eyebrow.

...

"Uz-"

"OH! You're V! Hiii!" Uzi suddenly just about yelled out in excitement.

...

Oh god, she's gone full stupid.

"PFFFTHAHAH!" V briefly let go of Uzi to facepalm as she laughed her heart out for a good few seconds before composing herself, only to see Uzi's expression pack a mixture of extreme confusion, grumpiness and 'Kill yourself'ness.

It sent her right into another laughing fit, a couple of digital tears going down her visor, as Uzi continued looking into her soul with that same expression, before she eventually composed herself, wiping a tear off with the back of her hand.

"You're weirdly hilarious in this state, buuut I think I should get you back now. You need oil, Uz," V told Uzi with a hint of firmness, about to carry Uzi back to the outpost bridal-style, the thought of which made her slightly nervous, before she thought of something.

"...Wait, how much oil DO you have left, anyway?" V inquired.

Uzi silently seemed to be looking at the data on her system, trying her best to find the number in her state.

"Uuuhhh, like, 400%?"

"...Hu-"

"Ohh, nno, it's, like, 4%..."

...

WHAT?!

"HUH?? I-I can't get you back that quickly! You'll pass out!"

"V, chillaaax, you can look at what I found while we-"

"Uzi, no, you're literally, like 3 minutes away from ACTUALLY going out on me!" V interrupted, slightly panicked again, as she thought of her next course of action.

There were absolutely zero spots for oil cans, and V knew there was no hope of finding a single drone now of all times. To have that kind of luck would be a blessing from Robo-god himself.

What could she do, then?

...

V's visor flushed madly as an idea sprouted in her head, one that she would've simultaneously killed to experience any other time, and one she would also rather dive headfirst into the sun than experience now.

But alas.

Swapping her hand for a blade, V slightly unzipped her jacket just enough to expose her collar region, before she made an incision, exposed to the elements. She then hastily disabled her self-healing protocols so the wound wouldn't seal.

Feeling the oil beginning to pool up and out of the freshly-made wound, V quickly crawled over to Uzi, scooched over next to her, and grabbed her by her middle region, setting Uzi onto her lap.

"Vee, whuh-"

"Bite me, Uzi."

"What are...-"

"Look, Uzi. Oil. Near my neck. Lap it up, c'mon."

And Uzi, without a hint of hesitation, as if she were responding to the strongest command in history, placed her shaking hands on V's shoulders. Bringing her head toward the wound, she experimentally licked some of the oil which was now gushing out in plentiful amounts, before she let out a groan, placing her mouth straight on the wound and hungrily licking every drop of oil that sprouted from it.

...

V actually felt herself about to pass out on the spot.

She had no idea how the hell she even mustered up the courage to throw herself into this situation, but her temperature was at degrees she hadn't even thought were possible. All while Uzi obliviously lapped up all of the oil.

V eventually began to rub Uzi's back in a circular motion, which quickly evolved into her gently patting her head. She felt the beanie was an obstacle, however, and, with newfound confidence, slowly lifted it from her head, holding it by the ball that sprouted from it, before setting it down next to them.

Uzi's vibrant, violet hair flooded V's vision, only adding to how overwhelming this all was, but V could only place her hand on Uzi's hair, softly running her fingers through it, as Uzi wrapped her hands around V's neck, continuing to feed. Uzi's sweet scent that radiated off of her hair was all what V smelled, and she slightly buried her chin in her hair to boost it. Uzi's hot, hungry breaths, meanwhile, were tingling what was a very sensitive spot to V, causing her to bite her bottom lip as she took in all of it.

V was literal prey right now, and it felt WAY too good.

She began to feel lightheaded, and not from the situation itself, but because her oil percentage was rapidly lowering in the process, but she only let it happen, reassuring herself that Uzi needed the oil far more than she did. V could be on 1% after this, and she would still try to get Uzi home before she passed out.

Hypothetically, of course.

---

"Mmh..." Uzi mumbled in gratitude and gluttony, her temperatures beginning to stabilize again. Uzi herself, however, was still consumed by greed, wanting to drink every drop of oil and not let one go to waste. Each and every one was liquid gold, and tasted heavenly. The oil was a mixture of just above warm, particularly viscous, sweet, and packing... a kick?? Uzi could not even identify how that was possible, but it only made it all the more better, so she was certainly not about to complain to her savior.

Say, who was this again...?

...

WAIT.

"MMH???"

Uzi began to cough and sputter all over V, some of the oil leaking from her mouth, as she finally realised what was even going on.

She was FEEDING on V's OIL??

HOW did they even GET here?!

Uzi backed off of V, her entire visor a bright purple from how much she was blushing, trying to form a coherent sentence.

"V how did thahappen like you know like I was just passed out and then I felt myself like wake up and I was literally on you and drinking your oil and oh my god oh my Robo-god I am so sorry oh my god I-"

"Uz... What?"

"Huh?" Uzi's long string of words was interrupted as she looked at V, who was a blushing mess herself.

"Dude, it's ok, I-I just saw you were hungry, and there were no other sources of oil at all nearby. I-It's okay, really," V reassured Uzi, lifting a hand while being unable to look Uzi in the eyes for the life of her, desperately averting her gaze.

"...O-Oh. I thought I, like, pounced on you, or something," Uzi mumbled.

"Nah."

"Huh."

...

"BUT HOW'D THIS ALL HAPPEN?" Uzi stomped, getting to the meat of whatever just happened.

"Look, I don't know, okay?!" V bit back.

"I-... O-Okay, whatever, I guess..." Uzi relaxed, still not daring to make eye contact with V, hoping all of this could be held onto forever hopelessly supressed.

...

"Aaaaanyway, what were you here for?" V said, a lopsided grin on her face, trying to change the subject with haste.

"Uuuuhh, I was here for a transduction mechanism to form an electromechanical transducer! Needed one to make a voice box for a rubber duck I'm making!" Uzi explained.

"Woah."

"Yeah, but instead of it quacking, it swears. I also recorded the lines."

...

"That's incredible, actually," V said with glee.

"Wait, really?" Uzi said, her eyelights brightening, before composing herself, and clearing her throat, "W-Well, yeah, it's toooootally awesome, anyway."

"You mind if I also pitch in and record a couple lines for it?"

"NO!" Uzi almost shouted, before keeping it down, "I-I mean, no, of course not! What would you like to record?"

"Uhh, something like: 'Hi, I'm Uzi, and I'm a huuuge neeeerrrd!'" V said, putting on a british-sounding accent.

"Rude."

"Hey, it'd be funny, I think. Maybe also..." V physically gulped, confidence burning through her, "'Uzi is also super c... cu... like... c...'"

Uzi looked at her, one eyebrow lowered.

"NEVERMIND! Nevermind!"

"Ooookay... Honestly, I do really wanna go home."

"Arright," V said, getting up in sync with Uzi, "C'mon, Uz, let's go."

V silently picked up Uzi's beanie, approaching her and putting it on her head, making sure it was positioned as perfectly as possible, earning a mild blush from Uzi, whose hands were clenched.

Then, scooping Uzi up, and carrying her bridal-style, V zoomed right out of the open window frame and flew out carrying her into the storm.

"WHUH? V! What're you doing?" Uzi yelled over the wind, barely picked up by V's audio receptors, as she covered her face, a bright blush finding its way onto her visor. Again.

"Quickest way, Uz. Plus, you'll be shielded from the storm this way," V said, certainly correct, but only going for it just to carry Uzi.

V confused herself, with the way she continuously went from not even being able to call Uzi cute, to just being able to do this like it was nothing.

God, she must've thought I was stupid back there, V dreadfully thought to herself. Seriously, I really am stupid at t-

"V?"

Shaking her head, V looked down at Uzi.

"Yeah, Uz?"

"Th-Thanks for... all of that. Y-You really shouldn't have..." Uzi said, her hands intertwined together as she looked at V in her arms, a soft look on her eyes.

It made V almost squeal.

"I-It's nothing, really, I'm glad it can keep you standing for a while, at least," V replied.

"O-Oh, yeah, it will. I do think you should treat yourself to a couple of oil cans once we get home, though. W-We can have a sleepover, too, If you'd like! I-I mean, just, hang out in my room. Yeah," Uzi suggested, a sheepish look on her face.

...

"I-I think I'd like that. I'm a little tired, anyway."

Notes:

Ragatha, in her beautiful, flowing wedding dress, walked down the aisle and to Swordie, flowers held in her hands, hugged by her form, as the life and glee sparkled in her eyes while she practically skipped to the front.

"You may now kiss the bride," the priest said on some nonchalant shit or something
