Summary
Lily wasn't a bad mother. No, but she was a neglectful one slightly, and she knew this. She also knew it was her own fault. After the attack at Godric's Hollow all those years ago, they had started prioritizing Harry's brother, Michael. Because of this, Harry sort of fell by the wayside. But that's not to say they completely neglected him, because she didn't. It's just that Michael needed more. So, he ended up getting the bulk of their attention. It wasn't until Harry had moved out the day he turned 17, not even attending that of the birthday party they had set for him and his brother, that she realized how badly she had fucked up.
