“You’re my significant other. I think I can flirt with you all I want.”
“Ooh. Scandalous.” They batted their lashes. “Does your mother know what a flirt you are? Do the other Time Lords know how many hearts you’ve broken?”
“Haha. Very funny.”
“I don’t think it’s funny at all,” they said, barely stifling a laugh.
“I heard that.”
“Heard what?”
“I heard you laugh.”
“I did no such thing.” The other tackled them to the ground and began to tickle them. “Okay, okay! I concede! I laughed!”
