Work Text:

Nine woke up with a groan, rolling onto her side. Being the absolute chud she was, the first thing she reached was her phone. 1:00 PM. "Damn," she rubbed her eyes.  As she lazily scrolled through her notifications, one caught her attention immediately. Your package has been delivered. "My TikTok lash clusters!" she said to herself, suddenly far more awake. "Sick, dude."

She stumbled downstairs in pajamas, grabbed the tiny package off the porch, and immediately headed back inside. After taking a shower, she settled onto her bed with the unopened box sitting in her lap. She peeled open the packaging, laid everything out carefully. She brushed the bond onto her natural lashes, grabbed the first cluster with her tweezers, and slowly guided it toward the inner corner of her eye.

Poke. "...Fuck." The lash slipped right into her eye, blinking furiously as tears instantly welled up. Trying to save it she poked at it with her finger, only managing to smear the bond everywhere before it sat in place. She grabbed another cluster. Maybe the first one was just bad. Poke. "...Are you kidding me?" Every single time she blinked, the lash stabbed her eye. She lasted about five seconds before ripping both clusters off with an annoyed groan.

She sprinted into the bathroom, staring into the mirror. The bond had stuck her natural lashes together, making it look like she had exactly four giant eyelashes. "Oh my god." She frantically rubbed at them with remover until the sticky mess finally came apart. After taking a deep breath, she looked at herself in the mirror. "...Okay." "I'll just do the other eye." Surely it couldn't happen twice. Another lash ended up poking her eye. "I hate these stupid things." She threw the tweezers onto the counter and gave up.

For the next thirty minutes, she lay in her bed. She marched back in front of her mirror again after 30 minutes. She reapplied the bond carefully, placed each cluster one at a time, She blinked and Nothing poked her eye. perfect. "...Yo." She leaned closer to the mirror, turning her head side to side. A smug grin spread across her face. She grabbed her phone, snapped a few selfies, picked her favorite one, and immediately sent it to Six.
