Chapter Text
Martin was so done with Ahn Keonho’s ass.
Okay, maybe that wasn’t a great way to word his current predicament, considering the fact that he loved the boy to bits. But then again, that was the problem, wasn’t it? Keonho was so fucking unpredictable and impossible for him to read, so there was no way of determining where they stood.
There were times when he would slip into Martin’s bed, when Seonghyeon wasn’t there in the room with them, and Keonho would seek his comfort, wordlessly cry into his arms, while Martin held him like he was something precious, because to him, that was true.
But during those rare instances, he wasn’t sure if he felt like CORTIS’s leader, comforting one of his members the way he was supposed to, or if he was just himself, Martin Edwards, and there was something more between them.
Then the next day, Keonho would be jumping around with a huge smile on his face, acting as if none of it had ever happened in the first place, returning to teasing and bickering with Martin every chance he got. That was fine, really. Martin had quickly grown used to Keonho’s antics. He just couldn’t tell what he meant to Keonho.
Was he just the leader, or did Keonho truly… he couldn’t say love him because that was too much of an assumption, that would be him projecting onto the younger, and that was unfair. But there was a small part of him—greedy, coloured lime green—that hoped Keonho sought him out because he was Martin, not because of any other reason.
