Chapter Text
Damian was sitting on the roof, his feet dangling without a care in the world, when he heard a crash behind him. He sprang up, his wings stretching out to prevent his fall when he nearly tripped over the edge of the roof.
"Jesus Christ, what is that!" His hands were on the hilt of his swords in a matter of seconds when he saw the silhouette of a strange-looking spaceship just a few meters in front of him. He had to flutter with his wings as the smoke from the crash came near him. When the scene was cleared, he had to restrain himself from stepping back like a coward.
The spaceship was covered in dents and scratches that resembled those of a whole otherworldly creature. A hatch on the side opened with a long creaking sound, and he carefully slid his swords from where they were resting on his back.
For a second, he could see long strands of dark brown hair before the person hit their head on the frame of the hatch and tripped. The person - a boy not much older than Damian - fell out of the spaceship and rolled towards him before coming to a stop at not even an arm's length. Damian was so confused by what the hell just happened that he considered going home and pretending like the last minute had never occurred, and it was just another strange hallucination his mind had made up for him.
Of course, his curiosity got the better of him."Hey, you, can you hear me?" Damian spoke while warily studying the boy's face for any sign that he might be waking up. When nothing happened, he sighed, crouching down next to his face.
"I can't believe I'm doing this."With a flick of his hand, a dark rope appeared mid-air. He caught it and started tying up the boy. Only when he reached under the back of the boy to tie his arms to his body, he noticed something.
He didn't have wings.
Not even small bumps where they should have been if, for some reason, he lost them tragically.
There was nothing.
Just one smooth, muscular surface that gave him chills. Is that what an alien looks like? Because there is no way for this boy to be from his planet. The spaceship made much more sense, now that he thought about it. Holy fuck. What mess did he just get himself into, he thought while finishing the last knot.
Damian had no idea how he reached his apartment without someone noticing him because the limp body thrown over his shoulder did not make him look like the victim in this situation. He was glad though because ain’t no way he’s getting himself arrested the moment he was finally free from his parents control.
