Flux was an architecture student looking for inspiration on the beach.
Or maybe an excuse for distraction from stress.
As Fluixon looked around, walking on the sidewalk almost at the sand. It was already sunset and only a few people were around. Maybe that was insane luck for what is about to happen.
Fluixon who was walking suddenly heard some splashing near the rocks. Curiosity got to him and left his stuff on the sidewalk. Folding the hem of his pants and stepping on the rock.
There he saw a white tail…a fish? … then he saw a body with…fish tail as legs??
The creature then looked up at him. He didn't say anything and just stared at Fluixon.
The creature looked, hurt, lost, and confused. And somehow Fluixon didn’t panic and rather stared back at the creature.
“Hey..are you okay?” Fluixon asked the creature. The creature then tried to hide himself with his hair. His hair was white as snow and the length near the size of his body. Fluixon couldn't help but chuckle at the creature’s reaction.
Fluixon then tried to approach the creature only for the creature to dive into the sea leaving Flux alone at the shore.

That night Fluixon arrived at his apartment. It was a decent apartment, I mean he is financially helped by his father.
Fluixon put his things down on his couch and went to take a shower.
After a while he came out wearing sleeping wear and drying his hair with a towel around his shoulder.
He then went to his kitchen and sat down opening his laptop. Searching for the type of creature he found.
“A creature that is half human and half…fish?” Fluixon mumbled to himself.
Mermaid or Merman or Half-fish creature
“Merman?” Fluixon says to himself.
…
“Is that what I saw?”

Flux was in bed, asleep? No, more of staring at the ceiling above him. He couldn't get the sight of the creature…or merman out of his mind. The way he looked at him made Fluixon feel something. Not fear, no, almost comforting, a soft look. No one looked at him like that before.
Fluixon then decided that he would go back to that place and look for that merman he met. Yet not sure if he will ever see him again.
