If you were to tell sam winchester that an angel was going to ask him out on a date, he would’ve laughed at your face.
Which he would’ve, especially if you told him that, that angel would be castiel.
But that changed when it became true.
“I would like to take you on a date.” Castiel announced.
Sam coughed the coffee he was drinking that morning when he was eating breakfast, it was early in the morning, dean was in the kitchen cooking eggs and bacon for everyone in the bunker, then there was cas who was sitting next to sam.
Its been a week since sam and castiel became a thing. To sam’s surprise, castiel was the first to confess his love for the winchester, i mean sam honestly thought cas liked dean but it seemed he read that wrong.
Soon enough sam and cas became a thing, the two didn’t know what to call it, but their relationship was something special now. Something they both didn’t wanna mess up.
The two have been taking it slow for a week, well up until this point where cas decided to announce that he wanted to take sam out on a date.
A public and open date.
Not that sam minded but he always thought the angel wanted to take things slow, since he was new to all of this. But it seems the angel had other plans.
Cas watched as sam carefully wiped his mouth with a tissue that was near by on the dining table, placing the mug he had down on said table, he quickly turned to cas in surprise.
“A date?” Sam questioned, like he wasn’t sure if he heard the angel right.
Cas nodded “yes, that is what i said.” Cas replied, sam saw the way the angel began to get antsy, nervous.
Castiel’s brows furrowed slightly, his frown twitched downwards as his eyes began to focus on the winchester, like he was looking for any signs that he might’ve said the wrong thing.
But all cas could see was a confused sam who was just surprised, but not upset or angry.
“Uh— okay..?” Sam scoffed with a laugh, he watched as cas’s shoulders relaxed, the way he could see the way castiel’s expression softened, it was cute.
“Really?” Cas asked, just to make sure.
Sam laughed softly “yeah cas, i’d love to go on a date with you.” Sam answered, quickly taking castiel’s hands with his own to reassure the nervous angel.
“As long as your sure of course.” Sam mumbled, looking at cas like he was the only one in the room.
Cas blushed, holding onto sam’s hands back like a lifeline.
“I am, and… im glad you said yes..” cas nervously whispered, looking down on their intertwined hands.
Sam wanted nothing more then to kiss the angel.
But he didn’t, yes they are seeing eachother, and now they are going on a date together, but that didn’t give sam the right to kiss cas yet.
Cas asking for a date was already a big step in their relationship.
Sam can’t ruin it by being greedy.
“Alright! Who’s hungry?!” Dean called out behind the two, entering the room with freshly cooked bacon and eggs. Making sam and cas pull away from eachother, not that they’re ashamed of the other.
It’s just that they never really told dean that they were a thing yet.
When the two pulled away, they looked at Dean nervously, who was oblivious to the sudden awkwardness of the two.
“What? If your gonna be picky then starve.” Dean announced, before setting the food on the table and serving portions to each one.

Okay maybe cas should’ve planned ahead before picking up the courage to ask sam out.
But cas had been buzzing for three days straight to ask the taller man out. He just couldn’t wait.
So when the hard part was done, cas was left with a new problem. And that is finding a place to go, and time to go to said place.
Cas was in the library and he huffed in frustration when he came up with nothing.
Yes cas had been everywhere around the world, but that doesn’t mean he could just randomly take sam just anywhere, he wanted it to be perfect. Something that they both like.
At first cas thought of a picnic date, but that was scratched off when he learned how short those were. And cas? He wanted the date to last for the whole day.
Maybe they could go hiking? No, cause they did not have the gear for that, plus they might run into a wendigo while hiking. Beach? No sam isn’t really a fan of big open and public areas.
Cas huffed, he was out of ideas.
Cue dean walking in, wearing a robe that came with the bunker, plus a beer in hand.
“What’s got your panties in a twist?” Dean asked, leaning on a bookshelf as he watched cas turn around completely to face him.
Cas paused as he stared at dean, before settling that he was probably his only source of ideas.
Cas took a few steps before speaking “hypothetically speaking, if you were to ask someone out on a date, where would you take them?” Cas asked carefully, hoping that Dean didn’t suddenly clicked the dots together and realized that cas was dating his brother without telling him.
“Okay, random question.. may i ask why your asking?” Dean questioned, before taking a sip from his beer bottle.
Cas sighed “just.. just humor me.” Cas added.
Dean squinted his eyes at the angel suspiciously.
But soon after drinking he spoke. “I would take her out on a restaurant, then maybe after eating we would go to the movies, then usually after that we would be having sex.” Dean shrugged after explaining.
Cas blushed a bit at the thought of doing that with sam.
Baby steps castiel, you dont wanna scare sam off by going too fast.
Cas took a deep breath “i see..”
Dean watched him for a bit “mind answering my question now?”
“It was a hypothetical question.”
“My ass it is, are you seeing someone?”
“… no.”
Dean smirked “you are aren’t you?” Dean replied, obviously hime was a nosy asshole and loved teasing cas about anything that involves dating or feelings.
Cas looked away to avoid feeling embarrassed.
“Ha! I knew it! When did you meet the lucky girl?” Dean asked, walking over to cas to swing an arm over his shoulder.
Cas did not reply, not only cause he was ashamed but because sam wasn’t a girl.
“Cmon cas! You know im a lady’s man, if you need tips on how to impress one, you know who to turn to!” Dean said proudly, pointing at himself with his thumb.
Cas huffed a breath “I'm leaving now.” Walking out of dean’s hold.
“Oh cmon! At least gimme a name!” Dean called out, cas already leaving dean in the library, went straight to the extra bedrooms in the bunker.
He will take dean’s advice but only cause he wasn’t sure on what sam would like, and honestly cas didn’t have anything better in mind.
He shuts the door gently and immediately fell on the bed, it wasn’t as soft as sam’s, but it was comfy enough.
All cas needed now was a date.
.

.
𐂂
Sam’s phone pinged a message, it was from dean.
‘Hey sammy, im going out with a few old buddies, might not be back for a bit, better not do any hanky panky with cas while im gone.”
Sam shuts off his phone as he finished reading it.
He rolled back on the bed, rubbing his face as he sighed.
Taking a moment to take the day in.
Before it finally landed.
‘Wont be back for a bit.’
Sam got up, and checked the time on his alarm clock.
It was already past sunrise, and there was a blue sticky note. It was from cas.
‘Get ready and meet me outside the bunker
— castiel’
Sam quickly got off his bed and quickly went straight to the bathroom.
He wasn’t sure how long cas had been waiting outside for sam, but he needed to be quick. He didn’t wanna waste anymore time.
I mean when have the three of them had free time? When have they not hunt for something?
It was rare. And the three of them were going to use it all up with something they wanted to do.
Dean went out to catch up with old buddies. Cas and sam were going out on a date together.
It was nice.
When sam finally got ready, he met cas outside the bunker.
Just like cas told him to do.
“Hey.” Sam greeted with a soft smile.
Cas looked at sam “good morning.” Castiel greeted back
The two stared at each other for a while before sam snapped them out of it.
“Alright.. so where are we going?” Sam asked curiously, a bit excited and nervous.
Cas blinked then nodded “right, uhm could you maybe drive us to ——-?” Cas asked. Sam nodded “sure lemme just get the truck’s keys.” Sam replied, running back to the bunker to get the keys for the truck that they stole..
Which was a good idea, cause dean took the impala.
When sam came back he turned on the truck and soon the two were off to the desired location.
When they made it, cas told sam to park across a street. When the two got out the vehicle, cas gently took sam’s hand (with permission of course.) and leaded the younger winchester to a diner.
It wasn’t a restaurant but it was the closest to the cinemas.
“Did Dean recommend you this place?” Sam asked when they found a booth to sit on near a window.
“No, i found it myself when i was wandering around the area this morning.” Cas replied honestly. Sam smiled “i see, well you have good taste, this place seems cozy.”
“Im glad you like it.” Cas added quietly. Obviously happy that sam is happy.
Soon a waitress approached their table, she pulled out a pen and flip note.
“What can I get y'all today?” The waitressed asked, politely smiling at the two men, who were looking at the menu.
“Uh, ill just have the salad and water.”
“Ill just have a milkshake.”
“Alright coming right up!” The waitress announced before leaving, sam turned to cas who was putting his menu on the side.
“Milkshake?”
“It was on the recommendation section.” Cas said, a bit embarrassed but he knew that being embarrassed was fine when he was with sam.
Who smiled softly “you sure you don’t wanna eat anything?”
“Im fine, i ate this morning with dean.”
“Okay that's good.”
When their orders came in, sam thanked the waittress and started to eat, mean while cas was admiring the drink, cause it looked exactly like the picture on the menu.
“Are you gonna drink that or are you just gonna keep staring?” Sam mumbled, his mouth was a bit full of greens, thanks to the salad of course.
Cas looked between sam and the drink. “Right, apologies.” Cas replied, before taking the straw in the drink and taking a sip.
Sam drank water as cas drank the milkshake.
Sam chuckled softly as he watched cas’s eye brows rise in surprise to the sweet flavor.
“First time having a milkshake?” Sam smiled softly again as he questioned the cute angel.
Cas nodded “this is sweeter then i expected.” Cas said, before sipiping more of the drink.
But as he sipped he felt his vessel’s head quickly ache from how cold it was.
“There’s a problem..” cas groaned as he held onto his head, like that would warm it down somehow. Sam immediately became concerned.
But settled when he found out what the problem was.
As the cooling ache passed, sam laughed, cas watched as the pretty winchester laughed joyfully.
“You're laughing at my suffering.” Cas said, slightly smiling, cause it was a bit silly seeing this celestial being having a brain freeze.
“Im sorry, its just that— seeing you get a brain freeze was so funny, i bet dean would’ve wanted to see that!” Sam laughed, cas chuckled quietly as he watched the other enjoy himself.
“You’re cute cas, seriously.” Sam sighed, his laughter finally dying down.
Cas blushed a bit, his smile still present “i will take that as a compliment.”
“Good, cause it is.” Sam added, slowly taking cas’s hand gently, threading their fingers together to lock their hands in place.
Cas always loved when sam did that, always slowly taking, giving cas enough time to pull away, even though he knew that cas would never.
The gesture was small. But cas had this urge to just lean over and kiss the winchester.
He wanted to.
But he couldn’t, at least not yet.
After tipping the waitress and paying for the food, sam and cas left the building
“Alright, got anymore plans?” Sam asked, obviously he as well, did not want the day to just yet.
“Yes, i do, would you be okay if i just teleported ourselves there? It will be more efficient.” Cas questioned, suggesting to teleport there but only cause he didn’t wanna waste anymore time.
“Why didn’t you suggest that earlier?” Sam huffed, not bothered by the fact cas asked him to drive when they could’ve just teleported but hey a guy has to know.
“Cause we will be late.” Cas said, offering a hand for sam to take.
Sam stared at it for a second before taking it, nodded slightly, hinting at cas that he said yes.
Soon enough, after one blink, sam found himself at an alleyway, but near the exit of said alleyway was a street, across from jt was a cinema.
“Wait— are we?” Sam asked, pointing at the building in front of them with his free hand, not realizing he was stilly holding onto cas’s
Who seemed to have noticed but did not point out.
“I know, you probably have been through this before with your past dates, but dean recommended it to me.” Cas admitted, again looking at sam, for any sense of uncomfort.
Sam smiled excitedly.
His hand squeezing cas’s unconsciously “hey its fine! Plus i love the cinema, cmon let’s see what movies they have up.” Sam said, gently guiding the angel across the street to meet their desired destination.
All cas could focus on was how warm sam’s hand was. It was rough but that came with being a hunter. But overall cas was just happy.
Happy that sam didn’t even notice that they were holding hands.
Like it was already second base nature to them.
The place was a bit crowded but soon sam and cas got in front and brought tickets to a romance horror movie.
The movie was called ‘love bite’ the cover had a female werewolf protagonist, while the other was a male vampire.
It was the only thing available at the time so sam and cas had no choice but to buy it.
“Hope your a fan of horror, cause apparently they only have this one opened for the night.” Sam whispered, going in the building then slowly following in line to get popcorn.
“I am, indifferent about any genre movies.” Castiel admitted. Sam turned to him like he was joking. “Right, i seen you watch television drama with dean, i know your as invested as he is.” Sam called out.
Cas blushed, cause it was true. Cas and dean got super into television drama, that they have some few daily watch sessions.
Sam laughed “hey, im not judging, its just that… your definitely not indifferent about some things.”
Cas nodded “perhaps i was wrong.” Cas whispered, not realizing he was squeezing sam’s hand back whenever the other did.
Sam smiled, soon enough they got their popcorn, sam checked his watch and saw that they only had a few more minutes left before the movie begins.
So sam found a table to wait on and soon cas joined.
“Gotta wait like 15 more minutes before we could go in.” Sam sighed, as he looked around the cinema.
Cas kept his eyes on the other.
“… did dean ever take you out on the cinemas when you were a child?” Cas asked curiously.
Sam turned to cas with a soft smile.
“Yeah, when i turned 15 dean would take me out to see a 16+ movie, while he went to watch an 18+ one.” sam mumbled, cas gave sam a strange look, and sam just smiled wider.
“Alright enough about dean, i remember this one time, i took jess out on the cinema.” Sam added, cas listened intently, like every bit of information coming out of the Winchester was something that needed to be memorized.
“And the only movies that were up were children movies. Still she wanted to watch a movie so we kinda stuffed ourselves in a room full of loud children. Came back with popcorn in our hair.” Sam chuckled at the memory.
Cas smiled slightly, his eyes drifting down on sam’s lips.
Kiss him.
Kiss him.
Kiss him.
Was all cas could think about, as he longed for the feeling of the other’s lips on his.
Cas blushed even more at the thought of the kiss becoming something more.
Sam seemed to notice.
“You okay?” Sam asked, moving over to check the angel’s temperature, knowing fully well that an angel cant get sick, being a celestial being and all.
“Im fine, just a bit warm in here is all.” Cas lied, gently pulling sam’s hand away from his forehead.
“You sure? We could leave if something's bothering you.” Sam insisted, and maybe thats one of the things cas loved about him, the fact that he cared a lot, and was really cute when he did.
Cas can see where the puppy dog eyes were about now.
And dean was right, they really do buy you in.
“Im fine.” Cas added, reassuring the winchester by smiling at him, sam relaxed and smiled softly back.
“Okay, if your sure.”
The moment felt small but huge at the same time. It was as if they were the only two there.
But then people started leaving, making sam check his watch.
“Oh! The movie, cmon cas.” Sam announced, grabbing his drink and popcorn to head to the movie, cas follow quickly behind.
🪽
When the two made it inside the theater, cas followed sam all the way to their desired chairs.
Sam chose one where it was not crowded, it was enough to give them privacy if they ever wanted it.
Sam sat down on the middle of the section, cat sat right next to him, and soon the movie began.
Since they were both soldiers, and has seen basically an average man shouldn’t be able to see, the horror parts of the movie were bland to them.
The real part that got them was the romance part.
And currently sam and cas were watching a part where the two main characters made out in a dark forest.
Suddenly the air around the two became hot.
Both blushing, flustered and embarrassed, clearly awkward as the scene.
“Uhm.. sorry i did not check the age rating..” sam coughed awkwardly, hoping cas did not get the wrong idea when sam chose the movie.
Cas nodded, though he was blushing he kept his eyes on the screen, the same way he did when he watched the delivery man and the babysitter.
The two remained silent, as the moans and huffs of the scene was the only thing that can be heard.
Sam fidgeted with his hands as the scene went on, maybe he wasn’t sure if he should keep his eyes on the screen or not.
Clearly sam is a grown man. He can handle stuff like this unfazed, but its a different story when your on your first date with an angel.
Cas noticed the fidgeting, offering his hand to sam, sam took it, and soon they were just holding hands.
Yes despite the moaning and groaning on screen, the gesture was sweet and it kept them both from falling apart into a blushing mess. So in both their books, this was great.
When the movie finally ended and the two walked out comfortable, they seemed to have not noticed that they were still holding hands.
Not that they minded, but they were outside in public, showing affection.
Some people stared, but they minded their business.
Leaving cas and sam just holding hands without realizing.
“I suppose we have to head back now.” Cas said, clearly disappointed that the day is ending but sam tugged his hand gently.
“Who said we have to?” Sam said, smiling at the angel who was confused.
“Teleport us back to the car, i wanna take you somewhere.” Sam suggested, cas nodded, and as a crowd of people left, in one blink they were gone.
.
.
.
Cas teleported them back to the car, and sam immediately went to jumpstart the truck.
It was almost midnight, but it seems Sam had plans for their date as well.
Unless he didn’t, he just quickly made an excuse so that the day wasn’t done yet.
Either way, cas is happy that he did.
The two drove off, the drive was only 45 minutes, cas was a bit sad that they couldn’t hold hands while driving but it was fine, cas can last 45 minutes without holding the other’s hand.
When they made it, sam parked the car and killed the engine.
In front of them was a neon purple building, it was an arcade building, ‘arcade amusements’ was what it was called.
Cas found it bit strange, but only cause he never seen one before.
The place was a tad bit crowded, mostly with teens and kids, and families or people who just wanna enjoy themselves.
Sam turned to cas “you ready?”
“For what?” Cas asked, as sam offered his hand again.
Which he took without thinking.
“To have fun.” Sam chuckled, as he rubbed small circles on the angel’s hand.
It wasn’t anything big but it sparked things in castiel’s heart in a way he had never felt before.
Cas nodded, and soon the two were inside the building.
Cas looked around them as sam bought tokens, it looked like coins but it was a currency for the games around them.
“Here” sam said, handing cas exactly 50 tokens to spend.
“Thats yours, this is mine.” Sam explained as he showed his other half of 50 tokens.
“Cmon ill show you how this place works.” Sam said, this time taking cas’s hand, and guiding him to a game.
Cas followed, still mesmerized witt the place, how purple and dark and bright it all was, it felt magical, despite it being only a place full of classic video games.
When they came to a stop, sam showed him a fighting game.
‘Mortal kombat’? Cas looked at the strange game.
“Sam, I think they spelled combat wrong.” Castiel explained, pointing at the title screen.
Sam laughed “no, i think they meant to do that.” He replied, already sliding tokens into the game to start it.
“Okay so basically this is a joystick, you use it to move the character around, and these buttons are moves, the red one is to do a punch, and the blue one is to kick. The big button on top of the console is for your special move, mostly for finishers but people use it for when they want their opponent to be as low as possible.” Sam explained with ease.
Seemed that he had experience with it before.
“I see.” Cas said as he began to play, the first round was slow, cas was still getting use to it, but soon enough he lost.
Sam cheered, then laughed when the game asked for another round.
Castiel seemed confused but then he slid in more tokens to begin another round “I understand it now.” Cas said, sam smiled as he looked over to the unnecessarily focused angel.
It was silly, seeing cas lock in on a silly combat game.
The sound of clicking and clacking can be heard between the two, sam made a few noises but only when some how, cas managed to hit him.
Soon after that cas won.
Sam sighed then pointed at cat accusingly.
“You cheated.”
“I did not?”
“You used your angel hoodoo.”
“That would be unfair.”
“Exactly.”
The two bickered before someone tapped on castiel’s shoulder and asked if they could play next, sam and cas left quickly so other could play.
They roamed around for a bit before sam stopped cas from walking and pointed at another game.
It was a baskest ball game.
It wasn’t as crowded as the other games so sam bolted for it, cas followed, as usual.
“You know how to play ball?” Sam asked, putting tokens into the machine to start it.
“I do not, but i can if you want.” Castiel explains as he sild his own tokens next to sam’s machine.
“Good, whoever wins first gets to do the laundry next week.” Sam challenged with a confident smile.
Cas frowned confusingly again, cause what was wrong with doing laundry?
The game began and sam and cas shooted hoops, sam won first obviously, maybe cause he had the high ground but also cause he knew how to play.
Sam cheered when he got the higher score than cas.
Tickets began to fall out, as the score dropped each time one ticket fell.
“Let’s play again, I think I understand what I have to do now.” Cas explained as he placed more tokens in the machine again.
Sam scoffed, but placed tokens in as well. “Alright.”
The two played again, and again, cas got the higher score on the second round.
Cas smiled victorious, as the tickets fell.
Sam smiled as he gathered his.
“You cheated again.”
“It’s called adapting.” Cas explained, joining sam on gathering their tickets together.
“Whatever, ill go grab a basket, watch over the tickets will you?” Sam said, leaving cas with the pile of tickets.
Cas nodded, as he held onto the tickets, it was a lot, and honestly he looked like he was holding a huge bouquet of flowers at a distance.
When sam came back he took the tickets, and placed them in the basket. When sam was done he looked at cas.
“How about you choose a game next?” Sam suggested. Cas looked surprised at the suggestion but he nodded as he started to roam.
Sam this time, following behind.
As they walked something caught castiel’s eyes.
He went over to it immediately, sam went over too as he looked at what cas was looking at.
It was a claw machine. Inside the machine were stuffed animals. But one that caught castiel’s eye was this small moose plush.
It had a tiny blue tie on it and it had fake glasses.
It was cute, and cas was determined to get it.
Sam watched as cas slid a few tokens in to start the game.
First attempt was a fail. It seemed like the claw had it but when jt rised it slipped past the moose.
Cas frowned, eye brows furrowed as he looked at the scam that just unfolded before him.
Sam smiled as he looked at the claw locking back in place.
“Yeah.. games like these are usually rigged, i dont think it’s worth the tokens cas..” sam sighed as he looked over to cas who frowned disappointedly.
But then that frown turned back to determination.
“No.” Cas whispered, shoving his tokens back in the machine to play again.
This time he was sure to get it.
When the claw descended and clapped onto the plush, cas watched intently as the claw began to rise.
This time with the moose! Sam bit his lip in anticipation as he watched the claw rise with the plush.
But as it shifted toward the prize hole, the moose swinged and fell.
Sam let out a frustrated breath that he didn’t know he was holding.
Cas pouted when the moose fell back into the pile of other plushies.
“Cas—“ sam began to speak but the sound of tokens falling back into the machine interrupted him.
Cas played again, and this time he was going to get the moose.
Again, the claw clapped onto the plush, rose again, and this time. As the claw shifted towards the prize shoot, cas watched as the plush swinged and dangled.
But when the claw stopped and finally let go of the moose, cas cheered as sam did.
Some people looked over to them, but then turned away when it was nothing.
Cas smiled widely as he took out the moose. It was a really cute moose. And to cas? It was worth the tokens.
Sam laughed as cas clung onto the moose. He looked like a kid who just won a giant stuffed unicorn plush.
“Did you cheat on that one too?” Sam teased, cas shook his head “honestly earned.” Cas said honestly.
Sam smiled.
Again, that feeling where he wanted to kiss the other came back.
It was a silly thought but sam couldn’t help himself, he wanted to. He almost did.
But when cas looked back at the other, sam pulled away.
He doesn’t know what cas wants, and cas has always been known for not knowing how to ask.
That's the common thing about them.
Not knowing how to ask.
“We still have enough tokens to play games. Cmon.” Cas offered a hand as he spoke, snapping sam out of his inner turmoil.
Sam smiled softly again, and took cas’s hand and let the angel guide him around the area.
The two played more games, won more tickets, and had a lot of fun.
It was nice, they never saw each other smile a lot until now.
It was strange, but in a good way.
It was something they could get use to.
After playing, sam only had ten tokens left, cas spent all of his on another gambling claw game, that he sadly lost to, but he said it was fine, he had a better plushie anyway.
As they walked, looking for a game to spend their last remaining tokens, sam pointed at a picture booth.
It needed exactly ten tokens to work.
Which is surprisingly cheap for a photobooth but hey maybe thats why this place is so popular.
“Lets do that.” Sam suggested, as he walked over to the booth, cas following behind, holding the basket full of tickets. Plus the moose.
“Photo booth?” Cas curiously asked, as he looked at the strange small booth. There was light inside but a curtain was blocking the way.
“Yeah, its like a giant camera, you walk in, you take photos, then you get your pictures outside the booth. Its really popular with the girls, but i have seen some men do it when they’re with friends or family.” Sam quickly explained as he sat inside the booth, cas soon followed, as he set the basket at their feet, still clinging onto the moose.
“I see, and you want to take photos together?” Cas replied, turning to sam who was placing his last tokens in.
“Well— yeah, i kinda want something to remember this moment.” Sam said, blushing a bit at how cheesy and corny the thought is.
But cas found it quite endearing.
He smiled, as the last token finally fell through.
Sam clicked a few buttons and soon the camera started counting to ten.
Sam placed his arm over cas’s shoulders, while cas set his moose just between them, like the moose was their child now or something.
The screen said smile as it counted down from 5.
The two men did, and soon the camera flashed.
As the photo was being processed, sam laughed.
Cas was confused at the bright light.
“Okay, get ready we have two more photos left, what pose do you wanna do?” Sam quickly said as the timer started up again.
Cas looked at sam and didn’t know what to do, so in a panic both of them just posed in a silly way.
Sam threw in an awkward smile, with his hands posing with a thumbs up. While cas did the same but this time only his free hand posed a peace sign.
Sam laughed after the photo was finalized, cas chuckled quietly along, the pictures were ridiculous but, they were proof that sam and cas are here, on a date. And having fun.
Then the last picture came, sam did a gesture that resembled a half of a heart, with his right hand.
Cas did the same but with his left, with sam’s free left hand he gently pushed cas closer to him, just until their cheeks brushed against each other, their knees pressed together, all the way up to their hips.
They both smiled for the last photo, and once the camera flashed and took the image, they both stayed there for a bit.
They stopped posing, they just sat there, feeling the warmth of the other, it was nice.
Sam blushed as he moved his knee against cas’s.
Who pressed back in reply.
“Alright, cmon lets look at the photos.” Sam said as he climbed out of the booth,
When the photoes finally deposited, sam handed cas a copy of them.
“Feel free to do whatever you want with this, cause i will be keeping this in my room.” Sam said, smiling at the photo like it was a treasure meant to be admired.
Cas looked down at his own copy, then looked back up at sam.
Gosh, how he wanted to kiss the winchester right then and there.
Sam looked back at cas, and spoke “we should buy something before leaving.” Sam added, gesturing to the basket cas would holding, filled with tickets that they earned.
“Buy something?” Cas asked, sliding the copy of the photos in his trench coat, sam nodded “yeah, you can buy other prizes with tickets, basically another currency in this place.” Sam explained, easily.
Cas nodded as he understood what sam said, yet what he found very puzzling is how come they needed tickets to buy prizes when they have money.
Anyhow, they went to the front desk and the prizes were mostly plushes, toys, and a few drinks. Maybe even chips.
In total sam and cas earned 1200 tickets, so they had enough to buy a plushie. Sam bought a small squirrel looking plush and a medium sized dopey looking teddy bear.
The bear was black, but it had a blue bow tie, and blue button eyes, as the lady handed them to sam, sam gestured the bear to cas “looks like you huh?” Sam chuckled. Cas looked at the bear confused, cause he did not look like a teddy bear. Did he?
“Got a squirrel plush for dean, just so he doesn’t whine at the fact we didn’t get him anything.” Sam added as they soon walked toward the exit, the squirrel was simple, it was a normal squirrel plush, and it was holding an acorn.
It really did resemble dean in some way.
Maybe crowley was right about calling dean a squirrel.
When they got back in the car, sam jumpstarted it and soon they drove back to the bunker, the plushes were left on the backseat of the vehicle, all three leaning against one another as sam and cas, listened to some radio music.
.
.
.
𐂂
Sam parked the car in the garage of the bunker, killing the engine, the two sat there for a bit, sam sighed, the turned to cas. “I had a lot fun today cas, this was really fun.” Sam admitted with a smile, cas smiled back “im glad, cause i feel the same way.”
Sam laughed, they both did, then the wind suddenly shifted, the two suddenly felt the urge to kiss each other, sam slowly leaned in, nervous and anxious, we was a bit worried if the angel could hear his heart rate increasing every second he leaned in closer.
Cas felt his vessel blush, he leaned in closer too, just as slow, giving the other time to pull away whenever he wants to, sam can tell he was as nervous as he was, which was pretty comforting to say the least.
Soon sam pulled cas into a kiss, it was slow, intimate, gentle.
Then they pulled away, both shocked at the contact, and the feeling of sparks around their lips, both blushed furiously, then cas couldn’t help himself this time.
He grabbed sam’s collar and pulled the man into a rough kiss, crashing their lips together but in a way that showed just how desperate cas was for this moment.
It was quick and rough and nothing like the first one, but still sam melted into it as he moaned, cas slipped his tongue in and the two huffed and moaned just like that scene they awkwardly had to watch.
Sam didn’t know what to do with his hands, he held onto cas just about everywhere, his neck, his shoulders, his wrists, his face.
Sam was desperate, he wanted to take more from cas, just like how casis desperate to give everything for sam.
Soon the two pulled away, cause making out with an angel really does take your breath away. Sam huffed and puffed as he tried to catch his breath, he watched as cas was the same yet he was licking his lips breathlessly, like the taste of sam was still on his lips somehow.
Sam would be lying if he said he wasn't turned on.
Sam laughed “wow, that was—“ sam laughed continued, cas remained silent as he watched the man he just made out with laugh breathlessly.
Probably too busy admiring the man’s beauty.
Or busy thinking about how he would like to do what they did again.
Cas leaned closer as he pulled sam into a kiss again but this time it was with small peaks.
Sam smiled as he felt the angel leave small kisses around his face, it was silly but it made sam feel happy.
Cas pulled away just to admire sam’s smile again.
“I—“ I love you, sam winchester. Is what cas would’ve said if he weren’t so scared at the thought of pushing it too far, i mean cas was lucky that sam let him kiss him, it was a massive step in their relationship, especially on the first date. Cas couldn’t be too greedy.
At least not yet.
“I would like to do that again.” Cas mumbled, sam laughed, his smile as bright as the sun, or whatever that meant. “Okay, wanna take this in my room?” Sam suggested, cas blushed, usually whenever someone wants to take cas to a room after kissing, it usually leads to intercourse. Cas would know since he had been with a few people back before he confessed.
So if this is how fast their relationship is going to go then cas will puffen up his feathers and give sam exactly what he wants.

Sam and cas through the plushies at the map table as they made their way to sam’s room.
It was a bit bumpy and clumsy since sam and cas were in a middle of a make out session while on their way there, but hey both did not care, plus Dean wasn’t home yet, seeing as the impala wasn’t in the garage.
So sam and cas could have a bit of fun, of course when they are done they would have to clean up, etc etc.
When they finally made it, cas pinned sam against the door, sam moaned as they kissed passionately. Sam’s hands roaming everywhere on cas’s body, his waist, hips, chest.
It felt intoxicating. Sam always thought that if he and cas were to make out it would be slow, gentle, intimate. But it seems cas had other plans.
Sam, pulled one hand free off of cas, his free hand fumbling as he tried to open the door, when he did, he did not expect the angel to lift him up with his raw strength.
Sam is tall, which means he would weigh a lot.
So imagine his surprise when the shorter man picked him up as he ravished his neck with small licks and kisses.
Sam moaned as cas carried him to his bed, kicking the door shut on the way there.
It was something new, sam never met anyone who could carry him like he was weightless, which he probably was to a celestial being. Still sam was very much into it, cas could tell by the way sam clinged to him desperately.
The moment cas crashed sam onto the bed cas pulled away to see the number he did on the man beneath him, he was breathless, his eyes were mixed with lust and love, his lips glistening from the amount of spit they had exchanged, his clothes were roughed up thanks to cas roaming his hands around sam’s body too, the hem of his flannel was slightly raised, showing the teasing v cut, cas crawled over to sam, sam reached out as he did.
The two continued kissing, and soon they went under the covers together, clothes on the floor, cas’s tie on the nightstand.
They just let the night pass while they did their nightly activity.

When sam woke up he felt sore, but in a good way type of sore, like the best night of his life type of sore, he also felt a pair of arms clinging around his waist.
He turned around and saw cas, who didn’t sleep, again perks of being an angel. But he seemed to be zoned out, not noticing sam was awake would help prove sam’s hypothesis on that fact.
“Morning.” sam’s voice rumbled, deep with sleep, and tiredness, yet loving cause it was cas.
Cas lifted his eyes up and saw sam smiling tiredly at him, he smiled back, moving closer to press a kiss on sam’s lips.
Sam chuckled “good morning.” Cas greeted back, as he admired sam’s still sleepy state.
“Dean is home, by the way, he's cooking breakfast.” Cas added as he got up the same up sam did.
Both sat up as sam rubbed his eyes awake with a yawn “dean didn’t come knocking?” Sam questioned, cas shook his head “no, perhaps he wanted to surprise us.”
Sam nodded “okay, cmon we need to get up.” Sam said, turning away to get off the bed, cas did the same as he went to go pick up his clothes.
“Was.. what we did okay?” Cas asked nervously, sam turned to see cas’s ears blush red. It was cute, sam approached cas from behind and hugged him.
“Yeah, as long as it was okay with you too.” Sam whispered happily towards the angel’s ear, cas blushed harshly as the rough voice that whispered.
Sam pulled away as he laughed, cas pouted at the teasing, but he knew it was all intended for good intentions.
When sam threw his dirty clothes in his laundry basket, he turned to see cas putting on his shirt.
“Wait—“ sam stopped cas from buttoning up his shirt.
Cas looked over curiously as he watched sam rummaged through his closet, only for him to walk back to cas and hand him a pair of clothes.
“Just say that I gave you my clothes for pajamas.” Sam explained, cas nodded as he removed his shirt and put on the new one.
It was a david bowie shirt, and the pants he got were actual pajama pants, he wondered where the top was.
“Here I'll clean your clothes.” Sam said, though he remembered that it was suppose to be Cass's turn to do the laundry, he didn’t mind, he actually liked doing them, but he wont admit that to dean.
“Thank you.” Cas said, while sam turned to throw cas’s clothes with his clothes in the laundry basket, cas took a quick sniff of the shirt, content when he smelled sam’s scent through it.
Cas sat on the edge of the bed as he watched sam change into a clean grey shirt, another flannel, and a pair of jeans.
“Cmon.” Sam called to cas as he patted his shoulder, signaling the angel to follow him back to the main room of the bunker.
As the two walked in, they can hear dean whisting, he was placing the freshly cooked breakfast on the map table “is that metallica?” Sam asked, as he stretched his arms, while approaching the table to take a seat. “Morning love birds!” Dean greeted
“And yes sammy it is, also were you the one who threw the random plushies on the table?” Dean asked, as he took a towel that he had on his shoulder to wipe his forehead with.
“Uh yeah, me and cas kinda went out and had fun at the arcade nearby”
“Without me? Traitors.” Dean said with a pout, giving portions to the three of them while the other two took a seat.
“You went out! And we were bored.” Sam explained, as he watched dean slide his plate towards him, with a set of fork and knife to go with that.
Dean did the same for cas, as cas watched the plate slide towards him.
Then that's when Dean noticed.
“Is that a hickey?”
The two froze, as dean pointed at cas’s neck.
Dean, seemed to be connecting the two dots together while sam and cas figured out a way to explain this as good as possible.
Cause they had a lot of explaining to do.
And a soon to be shocked dean to deal with.
