Summary
Max Verstappen had always known George Russell as just another rival on the grid, until a pre-race press conference changed everything. Sitting under the media lights, Max was caught completely off guard when George became a sudden spark and before he could even process it, his entire composure caught flame. Max kept his feelings fiercely to himself, burning silently on the inside, desperately wishing George could understand the way his chest tightened every time someone mentioned his name. Loving George felt like being a car speeding down a boulevard without any brakes—fast, terrifying, and completely unstoppable. But after navigating a painful rough patch of silence and fear, Max had to decide if he’s brave enough to stop running from a feeling that was bigger, deeper, and more consuming than any stupid song could ever say.
or, Max and George’s love story inspired by Olivia Rodrigo’s song, Stupid Song.
