“Oh Mountain Dew, we should go on a date!” Monster Energy exclaimed to Mountain Dew excitedly. “Hmm, maybe!” Mountain Dew said with seemingly less enthusiasm than usual in his voice. “But where?” He continued, “Maybe at a park?” Monster Energy replied. “Mhm, sure!” he said.“Okay!” Monster energy replied, “I’ll go grab our stuff!!” “Okay..” Mountain Dew mumbled in reply, watching as Monster Energy ran across every part of the house grabbing everything the two of them needed for the date, Mountain Dew felt something odd, was it a sorrowful feeling—no maybe it was guilt? He wasn’t really sure. His thoughts were interrupted shortly after by Monster Energy, “I got everything, can we go now?!” said Monster Energy, “Yeah, I’ll go start the car.” Mountain Dew said getting up off of his chair and going outside to start the car, Monster Energy followed cheerfully, walking to the car.

As the two of them arrived at the park, it was beautiful, everything was lush and green and the trees were especially beautiful as they were cherry blossoms. Mountain Dew laid out the blanket on the grass, “Alright what’d you bring?” Mountain Dew asked Monster Energy, “Oh, uhm I brought peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches…I know you hate jelly though, so yours is just peanutbutter, I uh couldn’t make anything else, it was fastest and easiest to make!!” Monster Energy replied a little bit worried, maybe he didn’t like peanutbutter sandwiches anymore? “It’s okay, I really appreciate that you remembered that, I don’t mind if it’s simple..” Mountain Dew replied softly. Monster Energy’s tail twitched as he blushed looking away, Dew was so sweet, suddenly he saw something, oh, a flower, that’d be perfect for Dew. He got up and grabbed the flower, “Dew look! A dandelion!” Monster Energy said getting down on one of his knees in front of Mountain Dew and putting the dandelion in his hair right next to his horn kissing his forehead and sitting down in front of him. Was Mountain Dew supposed to feel something? Like warmth or happiness from that? He didn’t feel any of that anymore. Not like he used to. “Ah- Monster Energy it’s getting uncomfortable on the ground, can we go sit on a bench?” Mountain Dew asked somewhat ignoring his affection. “Oh yeah same, alright let’s go sit on the bench then!” Monster Energy said paying no mind to Dew’s avoidance of affection.

As the sun shone on the two of them it made Mountain Dew look so neon green, “you look so adorable yknow that right Dew?” Monster Energy said to Mountain Dew lovingly yet teasingly. “Oh uhm, thank you…” Mountain Dew replied looking up, some people were walking by. “Ew, peasants…” said the weird ass looking human who sounded like they had their vocal chords disintegrated by poison, “You can’t say that to people.” said the other one who looked like they were a Tumblr Sexyman. “If you do not shut up I will not give you any more kisses.” “Hah, don’t care!” Said the person who looked like they belonged to a radioactive wasteland. As the two walked away Mountain Dew utterly shocked wonders what the fuck he just witnessed. “What the fuck…” Mountain Dew mumbled, suddenly something caught Monster energies eyes and his eyes light up, “Dew look, a jewelry store!! Can we go there?!” Monster energy begged Mountain Dew,. “Oh yeah, but we don’t have the money to buy anything so we can only look.” Mountain dew answered.”Yayy, I was only planning to look anyways, lets go!” Monster Energy replied. As they walked over to the jewelry shop there was a road Mountain Dew walked across first, “Alright make sure to watch for cars De-...” a crash sound came from the road in front of Monster Energy, along with a sickening cracking noise and as blood filled his vision some blood splattering onto him along with fire, and smoke filling the air. “Dew…?” Monster energy looked at the scene in front of him, the mangled corpse of his one and only lover in front of him on the road lifelessly. Monster energy wasn’t sure how he reacted maybe he ran to him or cried or just—stood there. The sound of sirens getting closer to him as the ringing within his ears became louder and louder.
