Summary
After saving the Planet, Tifa Lockhart awakens in a world she doesn't recognize.
Night City is cruel, violent, and unforgiving.
It is a place where hope is treated as weakness and happy endings are something people only sell in braindances.
But this strange new world gives her something she never thought she'd have again.
Aerith.
Reunited with the woman she thought she'd lost forever, Tifa is given a second chance to answer the question both of them were too afraid to ask before. Together, they discover not only the life they could have shared... but the relationship Aerith had quietly dreamed of all along.
As they build a new home, gather an unlikely family of friends, and carve out a place of their own in Night City, an old enemy begins moving once more from the shadows.
This time, however, Tifa won’t let Aerith face that darkness alone.
Because sometimes saving the world earns you something even more precious than victory.
Sometimes...
It earns you a second chance at love.
