Just Missed Them

Summary:

Aurore always just misses them.

Notes:

I do not own this show or these characters.

Work Text:

Aurore was hiding from the current akuma when Marinette ran past.

She must be looking for her own hiding spot, Aurore thought.

A few moments later, Adrien also ran past.

I wonder if they’ll find the same hiding spot.

She was not in the right position to see the light from their transformations.

Aurore was walking down a street when Alya and Nino walked out of an alleyway.

“Hi guys,” she greeted them, “taking a shortcut?”

“Um, yes, exactly,” Alya said.

If Aurore had looked down the alleyway, she might have seen Ladybug swinging away.

“Oh, hey,” Aurore said, “you’re Juleka’s brother, Luka, right?”

“Yes, that’s right.”

They chatted for a bit.

“Well, I need to go,” Aurore said.

After she left, Ladybug arrived to ask Luka for his help as Viperion.

Max bumped into Aurore.

“Apologies, I am in a rush to meet someone.”

“It’s fine,” she reassured him.

Max continued on his way to receive his Miraculous from Ladybug.

Aurore watched Kagami run into the changing room.

“She’s in a rush,” Auroe said, not seeing Ladybug head in the same direction.

Alix ran past Aurore toward the Louvre, holding her watch.

“Sorry!” Alix shouted, “I have a message to deliver!”

“I… have… to go… somewhere,” Kim told Aurore.

She blinked, wondering why hewas teling her, “Okay?”

Zoé was chatting with Aurore when Zoé spotted Ladybug waving at her from a rooftop.

“I have to go.”

“I have to go,” Mylène said.

“I have to go,” Rose said.

Juleka opened her mouth.

“Let me guess,” Aurore said, “you have to go?”

Juleka nodded.

Nathaniel and Marc were sitting together when they abruptly got up and ran off.

“I didn’t see them check their phones,” Aurore noted.

Ivan quietly left the room.

Maybe he needs to use the restroom, Aurore wondered.

Moments later, Sabrina left too.

Sabrina, too, I guess.

Aurore bumped into someone who looked just like Adrien.

“Oh, you must be Félix.”

“Indeed, but if you’ll beg my pardon, I’m in a bit of a rush.”

“Everyone always is,” Aurore replied with weary acceptance.

Aurore was sitting with Aglaé.

“You ever wonder why everyone always leaves abruptly?” Aurore asked her friend.

“Actually yes… speaking of which, I need to go.”

Aurore sighed as Aglaé got up.

“Am I ever going to know where everyone’s going?”
