Caline’s family had had the Butterfly Miraculous in their care for generations.
They had used it to subtly help people without revealing their existence.
But that all changed when Paon appeared…
Gabriel had tirelessly searched for the Guardian of the Miraculous.
It wasn’t like they had any other options; the Peacock was damaged, and they didn’t have any other Miraculous.
Then the Guardian had become careless, as he had come close to finding the lost Butterfly Miraculous.
They had tracked him to his home and sent men to capture him.
Unfortunately for them, he had escaped with four of the Miraculous; two of them were the ones they most wanted. But they had taken the others along with his notes that allowed them to crack the code in the Grimoire and fix the Peacock.
As soon as it was, he started sending out Sentimonsters.
Caline had watched the devastation on the news.
“We can’t hide anymore, Nooroo.”
Nooroo nodded, “Yes, we must rescue Duusu.”
“Nooroo, Light Wings Rise!”
Caline transformed into Carefly and sent out a kamiko.
There were many battles between kamikos and Sentimonsters.
The Mime fought a green frog Sentimonster.
The people cheered for their defender.
Bright Blade and his knights charged the dragon Sentimonster.
Carefly had been unsure about kamikotizing Armand D'Argencourt due to his… old-fashioned politics. But his desire to protect the older buildings from the dragon was genuine, so they could work together.
Monsterbuster fired her gun at the ghost Sentimonster.
“I will capture you and study you!”
In her room, Carefly sighed, “Oh, Olga.”
The Owl flew toward his enemy, “Hoo-Hoo!”
Carefly groaned and rubbed her forehead.
Mr. Pigeon protected the park, “No one attacks my friend's home.”
Anansi wrestled with a Spider Sentimonster.
“There’s only room for one spider in this city!”
“Actually,” Max said from the crowd, “there are approximately millions of spiders in Paris.”
“Way to ruin my quip, braniac.”
The Pharaoh fought a Sentimonster based on a monster from Greek mythology, “Ancient Egypt is better!”
Chloé’s butler became, unsurprisingly, the Butler.
He cracked his knuckles, butlers knew how to deal with unwanted guests.
Guitar Hero tuned his guitar, “Rock on.”
His partner, Trouble Manager, got out her pen, “I hope this doesn’t take too long, you’re on in two hours.”
“It will be fine, Penny,” Guitar Hero told her, “that’s plenty of time.”
Kung Food threw food at a food Sentmonster.
The Kamiko entered Giséle’s bike helmet.
“Hi, honey,” she said.
“What? How did you…”
Giséle snorted, “You really think I didn’t know? Let’s defeat the Sentimonster, and we can talk about it when I get home.”
Of course, she never kamikotized children unless she had no choice; what kind of person would willingly choose children to fight supervillains?
But eventually, Paon decided to hand out his spare Miraculous to people he thought he could control.
Volpina created an illusion to escape from Prime Queen.
“You’ll have to do better than that!”
X-Horse (AKA XY) portaled away from Knightningale.
“You are a disgrace to music. I will silence you for the sake of all.”
Audrey stood alongside her son Noé.
“Let us take down this ‘hero’ mother.”
“Let’s,” Audrey nodded with approval.
The two of them transformed into Style Bee and Luxury Dog.
Tomoe transformed into Arashi Gozen and unsheathed her sword.
Nathalie, as Caprihunter, created a special rifle and aimed it at the Kamiko.
An explosion caused a building to collapse, from which Swinearchy jumped out.
“Surprise cameo!”
Master Fu watched all this and made a decision.
“I can’t stand by any longer. I need to find holders for the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous.”
“But how will you choose?” Wayzz asked.
“The same way I always do.”
“Pretend to be a helpless old man?”
“Indeed.”
“And what about the Rabbit?”
“No,” Fu said, “we’re not that desperate, not yet.”
When Ladybug and Chat Noir appeared, Carefly had mixed feelings; on the one hand, she was glad for the help, but on the other…
“If I ever meet whoever gave Miraculous to children, I’m going to give them a slap,” Caline said.
