Summary
Original AU. Marinette is kidnapped by the league of Assassin's as a child and betrothed to Damian on the penalty of death. What the league is unaware of however is that Damian is the true Black Cat holder and Marinette's soulmate. If one of them dies the other will parish.
The two navigate the league not letting anyone onto this fact even until the fateful day Slade forms an uprising with in the league. Killing Ra's and spurring Talia to take Damian to his father. Master Fu is killed during the battle and Marinette escapes the league with Damian being the only one to remember her.
The two are separated for years and neither can mention the other while dealing with their separate lives even to those closest to them for fear of the LOA, Hawkmoth, and other parties. The clock is ticking though as they turn fifteen because, if they don't wed before their 16th birthday they will both die.

But Marinette wasn’t organized or tidy and she certainly wasn’t presentable. She was a failure and, though she knew she’d never get better if she didn’t keep up with the work he’d put into her, one more strike of his hand felt like it could lead her to somewhere dark. Somewhere dangerous. Somewhere she wouldn’t ever recover from. And so she fled.

They start high school in Gotham Academy , where Damian and Jon started schooling , there , Marinette and her friends becomes friends with 17 year olds Damian and Jon , soon romance fills the air .

Marinette knew this from her mother. So did her twin brother, Marin. Marinette was shy and normally had bad luck, while Marin was outgoing and had good luck. So it was odd that the week after her beloved brother left for an exchange trip to China, she was given a pair of magic earrings with the power of luck.
All it took was explaining the situation to both Tikki and Master Fu to agree; shortly after Marin returned, Ladybug and Chat Noir would 'retire' due to stress, and Red Beetle and Chat Noire would take their place.
Needless to say, she couldn't say anything to Chat- no matter how annoying his determined 'soulmate' talk went on.
But her brother didn't know either.
So needless to say, when he enters a competition that allows his new class to go to Gotham, New Jersey, USA, of all places, she realizes how deep secrets and half-truths- along with the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous -go in their family.
But even with these new challenges, Marinette and Marin Dupain-Cheng Wayne can get through it all.
They're two sides of the same coin after all.

Summary
This is an ongoing project. I actually wrote Chapter One between 2 and 4 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning, driven by a mix of depression and longing. But the seeds for this story were planted long before that night. I plan to update when I can—maybe not consistently, but with short breaks between chapters. The pace will likely pick up in summer, as completing full stories is difficult, and I’m a high school sophomore, so... set expectations accordingly.
This story takes place after Chloe’s departure to New York. During a layover in London, she has a fateful encounter with Luka Couffaine in the airport lounge. Luka, too, is returning to Paris after Ladybug deems it safe for him to come back following Jagged Stone’s world tour.
Chloe wants to leave the past behind. She yearns for a new beginning—new school, new life, new friends. Luka is intrigued by her, sensing a fragmented melody he can’t decipher. His curiosity grows, and he becomes determined to understand her.
As time passes, both Chloe and Luka mature—together, as individuals, and within their own circles. Their relationship evolves, and they begin to bloom into adulthood.
