Juleka Couffaine is a vampire.
She thought it was extremely obvious. She gawked at it really. It felt cliche. With her gothic looks, her pale skin, her alarmingly red eyes, garlic allergy, and her penchant to mumble a lot (mostly in an attempt to avoid someone noticing her fangs)...
But here she is! It’s been years since she’s met these people and they still haven’t fucking noticed- despite the abundant and new magic in the air. That being all that weird super hero business she want's no part of. Of course.

However despite how much she sold it to the public, Panthera Noire was not like that, not really. Because while she was Panthera Noire to the city, for all the world knew, Juleka Couffaine didn't even exist.
Drowning in her crush for her best friend and the responsibilities of carrying the world on her back, she only wants to survive long enough to see the romantic fairy tale happy ending she’s gotten a hope for.
