   Summary

   Winters are desperate in Ered Luin and this one is particularly brutal. A sickness is spreading, one that has afflicted Kíli. Thorin and Fíli set out to the nearest human town, hoping they can trade for resources and medicine. They find someone willing to make a deal, but the price he is asking seems too large even for them. It's not trade he wants, it's Fíli.
