After the incident in the storage room the crew decides on a party to celebrate not dying due to the hole that was sucking multiple objects into space; given fifteen minutes before hand so that red can decorate which made orange want to object because in mira’s third rule book page four hundred thirty three it states all interns should decorate for the pizza parties with help of the HR rep to prevent any accidents and captain should only be on site if an accident occurs. She didn't object for the sole purpose she needed to chat with green about pressing matters
While all the crew go their separate ways, orange turns to green “follow me as I have a task for your first duty as unpaid intern” She gives a polite smile that holds no sign of anything malicious intent. Green quickly puts on his act “okie dokie!” she walks over to electrical: green not far behind.
Once the pair enter electrical, green locks the door behind the two. Completely dropping its act "I'm still trying to get the memories of my host, what could you possibly want?” Orange pulls a clipboard out of a pocket green didn't know existed and flipped to an empty page near the back: rearranging the papers as she speaks. “We need a solid alibi”
Green pauses and looks at orange as if she's stupid, which might not be far from the truth but it will keep that thought to itself. “For what? We haven't killed — we just took over our hosts” orange hums “well that is in fact true” orange looks away from her clipboard and into greens visor. “they put salt on their pizzas, and while you could fill out an allergy form; i cannot as my host has shown prior love of salt and a sudden avoidance of salt could be deemed suspicious”
“Give me the allergy form, I'll sign it,” Green impatiently says.
“We need a plan green” green sighs “okay hit me, whats your plan?”
“Brown makes a smaller pizza without pepperoni and salt, I'm unsure why but it's beneficial for us” green nods “okay so we take slices from him?” orange cheerfully replies “yup! But in case anyone asks, we need a story we can quickly tell without any flaws.” orange quickly follow up “my cover story will be i simply wanted a smaller slice”
Green thinks for a moment “my host seems to come from a place that isnt the most well off therefore i can say how ive never had it and am reluctant to try it”
“That sounds perfect, and saves me from wasting ink on printing an allergy form that isn't needed!” orange goes to walk towards the door but green blocks her “it's not perfect, salt burns our skin so we will refuse to touch it: even the containers hurt mildly. They will notice”
“I am sure as long as you have no kitchen duties it will not be an issue, and as HR rep i never go into the kitchen unless it need reviewed which is rare to happen”
Green moves out of Orange's way “i hope your right” orange unlocks the door and green turns to the door “I'm gonna go find that rich brat” it leaves out the fact that the hosts prior experience of white stealing the wheel from them is impacting the decision to kill him first. Orange frowns and turns her head to green “thats a write up: mira’s rules state any insults to your fellow crew that isn't constructive criticism is punishable by pay being deducted after two warnings since you are unpaid your first ever paycheck will be withheld “
Green groans and walks off leaving orange to go print the write up it’ll eventually sign.
