    Parrot’s eyes snap open. It’s as if there’s still smoke filling his lungs, but this time he can’t move. He stares at the black void above him for what feels way longer than it probably is, before he starts feeling his limbs again. As soon as the tingling in his neck subsides, he looks around frantically, although all he can make out is darkness.
