   Almost as though on cue, Regulus’ voice carried from the other room. “James. Come in here, please.” He had the same slight terror in his voice as when he found a cockroach. If he was lucky, that would be what he was calling James for.
   Of course it wasn’t.
   When he crossed the threshold to their bedroom, Regulus was standing next to the bedside table holding the bottle of strong cough medicine in his hand. James gulped. “What did you take this for?”
