Quinn had left Vancouver in a rush, only taking what was really necessary with him to Minnesota. So when their season was finally finished he made his way back to Vancouver to pack everything up and fully move to Minnesota. Quinn was tired when he finally got to his apartment building, it was late and Quinn was ready to sleep and start packing in the morning. Quinn pushed his door opened and was surprised when the light in the hallway was on. He was pretty sure he shut everything off when he left, but many he forgot one light. Moving through the apartment things got weird. There was a blanket he didn’t remember owning on the couch, food in the fridge, garbage in the garbage can, and dishes in the sink. He was cautious as he moved through the apartment now. There were very few people who had access to his apartment and he wasn’t expecting anyone to be here. Quinn pushed opened the door to his bedroom and was surprised when Elias was laying in his bed.
“Quinn, you’re back.” Elias said, sitting up in bed.
“You stayed?” Quinn was surprised. He assumed that Elias would have gone back home by now, not sitting in Quinn’s bed waiting for him.
“Of course. I wanted to be here incase you needed help packing.” Quinn crossed the room, pulling Elias into a hug. It was a bit awkward as Quinn was standing and Elias was sitting on the bed still.
“Thank you.” Quinn pulled back and climbed into the bed beside Elias. He knew he should probably change and actually get ready for bed but now that he was pressed against Elias against after all these months he couldn’t care less. Everything else could wait until morning. Quinn knew they needed to talk about their relationship and what was going to come but right now laying in Elias’ arms was enough for Quinn to forget everything and pretend take nothing was going to change.
