Work Text:
The first kiss between Mel and Trinity happened at a sleepover with Becca. Mel admitted she had never actually hosted a sleepover growing up, and Trinity simply could not let that stand. So for once Trinity's plans led her out of the apartment, a joyous Dennis blasting funk music when she exited. Huckleberry somehow had a more active social life than Trinity Santos, which was sad.
Becca, Mel, and Trinity had fun painting each other's nails, braiding hair, and playing the stereotypical sleepover games. Trinity was feeling bold by the time Becca asked her "truth or dare?" Trinity chose dare.
"I dare you to kiss Mel on the lips! She had her first kiss like ten years ago, and hasn't kissed anyone since, and since you like girls, it's okay."
"Well, wait a minute, Im-Becca-ble" Trinity started, pronouncing the nickname like the word impeccable. "Mel, do you like girls? Would you be okay with me doing what Becca asked?"
"Yeah, I mean I've never kissed a girl, but I don't see why not. It's just a dare, and yeah, it's been a long time." Mel scooted towards Trinity, who leaned in. Their first kiss was brought to fruition by Becca King's beautiful mind. Becca began happy stimming as the two women broke apart.
"Well, how was it?"
"I - yes, I definitely like girls. I liked kissing you, Dr. Santos."
"Whoa, she's returning to formalities. I think we broke her, Becca..." Trinity failed to think of another nickname, her mind mostly wondering how she could create the circumstances for this to occur again.
"No, no, no, let's just keep playing." Mel corrected. She wasn't broken. She was maybe possibly in love for the first time, that's all.
