PROMPT: DS9 THE MUSICAL

Summary:

A prompt that exploded on tumblr (melorasalive) and a promise!

For every DS9 the Musical (edit: song that is an original composition) that gets posted on Tumblr or here on AO3, I will make an animatic!

Tagging me on tumblr or doing an inspired by on AO3 will help me find it!

Notes:

To get an animatic:
1 - may not be a Weird Al parody song.
2 - track must have vocals and instrumentation. doesn't need to be fancy or real instruments, just enough to give a consistent rhythm!
3 - does not need to be new - if someone wants to retroactively submit a preexisting filk, I will do that too!
4 - edited to add: must be an original composition in a standalone post to get an animatic. playlists and "this character should sing this" are beloved in the comments section, but I can't make that many animatics, lol.

Yeah but why HASN'T someone written an unofficial DS9 musical? We're a talented bunch off assholes, someone out there has what it takes!

CAN YOU IMAGINE: 8 part Dax harmonies. desperately yearning garashir ballads. Bajoran chorals, with recitativa duels between Kira and Winn. theme mergings with Ziyal. Sisko's wildly rich voice talking about his grief->anger->long-suffering everything. jake and nog with a herpity derpity doo pickpocketing duet. some sort of sexually charged pink panther variation with quark and odo. little devotion ballad for miles and keiko. weyoun ACTUALLY calling damar his bitch. dukat trying to sing over everyone else all. the. time.
