   Summary

   Something is off about Shane Hollander.
   Hayden Pike doesn't quite know how to explain it, but he knows something has changed over the summer. Shane's acting more distant, avoiding locker room talk even more than before, and just... not always being as open with Hayden as he usually is. Jackie thinks that Hayden might be overreacting, but Hayden's pretty sure the root of the problem is Shane's romantic relationship. Or lack thereof.
   Yeah, Shane's been talking to (and hooking up with) some girl named Lily in Boston, but that's been happening for years, so that relationship can't actually be going anywhere, right? Maybe if he can convince Shane to find a nice woman closer to home, things will be better.
   Because Shane Hollander's not the kind of guy to keep any big, deep secrets, especially not from his best friend Hayden Pike, so that's got to be it... right?
