“I saw an angel in the marble and carved him free,” he murmurs, patting Lewis’ back to let him know he can straighten up now. “Do you know who said that?”
“What?” Lewis grunts, picking up his bathrobe from the ground. He looks at his hand, then at the bathroom, not wanting to put it on his come-covered body and not wanting to go shower either with Nico being right there. The grimace on his face stirs in Nico a satisfaction that seeps deep into his bones.
“It’s widely attributed to Michelangelo.”
Lewis gives him a flat look. “Are you saying I’m an angel?”
