Nakamura had finally accepted that he and Hirose were simply going to stay friends during his third and final year of highschool. He was completely ready to let go and just have Hirose be remembered as an old highschool friend, really! But that wasn't in god's plan. They wound up in the same college, and as roommates!
Honestly Hirose was a great roommate and even greater friend, he was a little messy in his own room but he always cleaned up after himself in their shared spaces. He'd make Nakamura a plate breakfast whenever he made his own, always asked him before having people over, and was overall kind to him.. which totally just made Nakamura's stupid highschool crush stay well into their college days!
Not long after he and Hirose's friendship had started seeming closer than usual, Nakamura had confessed to him after his first party, totally drunk. To be honest he was upset that it wasn't like any of the cute, bl manga he read.. It had been impulsive and he regretted it immediately the next morning, but that was short lived because Hirose had promptly explained that he liked Nakamura back and he'd had some suspicions for a while anyway.
They talked about it over breakfast and since then, they'd been dating, Nakamura gets super nervous about telling people he has a boyfriend because he's horrified of people seeing him any differently because of it but Hirose tells people openly and told all of his closest friends almost immediately after they spoke about officially getting together.
However, they've been dating for a year at this point and still haven't had sex. Listen, Nakamura's not some weird, sex crazed maniac at all but he's finally dating the guy he's had a crush on since his first year of highschool, excuse him if he's a little needy. Hirose always walks around half naked and he's so touchy, it's hard not to get a little imaginative.
Nakamura really wants to ask Hirose to have sex but he really, really doesn't want his adorable boyfriend to know that he's a total pervert! But considering how cute Hirose is, he can't be the top so no way he's gonna initiate. Well, he could! But it's not likely, which means it's up to Nakamura.. Ugh, this sucks!
One night while him and Hirose are cuddling on the couch watching some random movie, maybe a comedy or something.. Nakamura isn't really paying attention but he decides he should do this now and get the humiliating conversation over with, he sighs before speaking.
“Aiki, I've been thinking—”
“Oku, I've been thinking—”
They both paused and blinked at each other, Hirose giggles softly. “Sorry, you can go first!” he offers immediately, he's so freaking cute!
Nakamura responds quickly, “No, really it's fine! You go first!” he blushes, he was seriously about to say something about sex when his adorable boyfriend just wanted to talk. He's such a weirdo!
“Mm.” Hirose smiles, “I was thinking.. it's nearly our one year anniversary.” oh god this is even worse! Nakamura was thinking about sex while his boyfriend wanted to do something romantic! He knows it's their one year soon, it's practically all he's been thinking about, it's consumed his every freaking thought!
“Uhm, yeah.. A-Anything you wanna do?” Nakamura tries to ask casually, blushing hard and wiping the previous dirty thoughts from his mind, quickly grabbing his glass of water from the coffee table and taking a long sip.
Hirose grins and sits up, sitting on the taller boy's lap. “Well, we've been dating for a year and we still haven't you know, I wanna have sex with my handsome boyfriend.” he says playfully.
Nakamura's face goes bright red as he spits his drink out and starts coughing, water and drool pouring down his chin and onto his chest as he sits up, unable to stop coughing, that caught him off guard!
“U-Uhm!” Hirose panics, grabbing a tissue and wiping his boyfriend's face awkwardly. “W-We really don't have to if you don't want to!” he says loudly, horrified he scared his boyfriend with the idea. Nakamura is pretty introverted, it'd make sense if he was saving himself!
“No!” The black haired boy cuts the other off with a noticeable voice crack, reaching out and holding his boyfriend's hands in his own. “Really, I want too! I've been wanting too! B-But let's talk about it first!” he responds eagerly.
“Mhm, that's what I was gonna say.” Hirose visibly relaxes and smiles softly. “I'd go change your shirt before we do though, it'll be uncomfortable.” he says, honestly referring to both the conversation and the taller boys shirt, as he leans down and kisses him lovingly.
Nakamura nods obediently but feels a little sad as the light haired boy moves off of him and stands up, letting out a quiet whimper as he stretches. Hirose is so cute, this is gonna be so awkward..
Nakamura quickly walks out of the room and to his bedroom where he changes his shirt, Hirose has been sleeping in his bed more often than not since they started dating and now Hirose's messy habits have started to slowly infect Nakamura's room too, a few of Hirose's dirty socks lay on the floor.
After he changes and comes back out, him and Hirose have a really awkward, embarrassing conversation but it's necessary and important.
“So, uh, if we do this, I want you to know, I'm into some weird stuff.” Hirose starts talking nervously, fidgeting with his fingers. “So I just need to warn you.. it'll probably freak you out..”
“Weird?” the black haired boy asks in response, just as nervous as the other but trying to be a good boyfriend, he wraps an arm around the light haired boys shoulders. “Like, weird how?” he asks before continuing softly “Nothing about you could ever freak me out.”
The shorter boy sighs, his knee bouncing restlessly. It's weird seeing Hirose like this, Nakamura is usually the anxious one. Either way, Hirose starts, “Uhm, have you ever heard of puppyplay..?” Hirose asks embarrassedly.
That definitely catches the taller man off guard, puppyplay? Hirose? Well, it makes some sense, Hirose is super cute, no wonder he wants to be treated that way. Nakamura tries to be supportive “Yeah, I guess I know a little about it.. You mean you want to be treated like a dog?” he asks the question awkwardly.
“uh, no, I.. I kinda hoped you'd be the dog.. Of course only i-if you wanted to! I know it's stupid and you might find it gross..” the cute boy mumbles.
