    This day can’t get any more shitty.

    First, Zanka wakes up late, meaning he has to skip his morning training and maintenance on Lovely Assistaff. Then, he’s sent out on a day-long mission far away from headquarters. AND THEN, while he’s getting ready to leave the, frankly, pathetic clean up job, raiders just had to ambush him and the supporters, effectively splitting them up.

    So now here he was, laying on the ground with a split headache and pain shooting down his arm because a certain venomous freak loves to target him for no apparent reason. Great. Lovely. He’s so glad he got up today.

    OR, Jabber and Zanka try to play 20 questions to pass the time but it gets a little angsty instead.

    “Fuck you..” Zanka rasped barely above a whisper, his body buzzing with emotion he couldn’t quite place.

    Jabber looked genuinely surprised, a look of shock abruptly interrupting his face before he began to laugh.

    He scurried on all four to Zanka’s side now mere inches from his face. Zanka’s eyes met Jabbers once again. This time with a more pleading look in eyes. They stared at each other for a few beats. Zanka’s breath shook softly, refusing to lose this game of cat and mouse.

    That’s why he likes Jabber. Jabber has never once stared too long or said a word about his scars. Why would he? The only thing worth mentioning about his scars from Jabbers perspective is how sad they are. How average they are.

    Maybe if Jabber did say something like that, Zanka would have the motivation to go deeper. It’s disappointing how they only make each other worse.
