Work Text:
Aurora Giles was an enigma. Despite the high level of intelligence her ultimate talent required, she chose to splurge it all on her obsession with “beautiful people." As if the concept of “beauty” held any tangible value in the first place.
This bothered Charlene, more deeply than it should have. Who cares if her frivolous classmate wanted to squander her potential over a preoccupation with the appearance of herself and those around her? It was her right to be a fool— Charlene supposed— no matter how disappointing that foolishness was.
Still, Charlene couldn’t help but wonder what had led the plastic surgeon so astronomically astray. Had Aurora not been so fervent in a pungently ludicrous ideology, she may have been the one person in this hellhole that Charlene wouldn’t mind conversing with if not her first ever friend.
Truly, everything about that woman eluded her.
Charlene Cuevas was not only ugly in appearance, but perhaps even uglier in personality. That foul, arrogant attitude was unbecoming of anyone, let alone someone as repugnantly ugly as her. She was so grotesquely unattractive that Aurora couldn’t quite seem to let it go.
From her pretentious demeanour, to her never-ending list of boorish insults, to her hideous yellow-tinged goggles (which she wore at all times for some godforsaken reason), to her oversized lab coat, to her short lavender hair, to the way she always smelt of laundry detergent, to her habit of chewing on the end of her pen when lost in thought–
Where was she? Oh, right!
Truly, everything about that woman disgusted her.
