   Summary

   Percy nodded more to himself than to her and took his hand of the water handle.
   Now, not knowing what to do with it, he brushed her braids out of the way in order to clean her entire back from the blood. Then he placed his hand on Annabeth’s shoulder.

   To his surprise, she didn’t flinch away, he could hear her sharp inhale though and he was thinking he maybe crossed a line. Until Annabeth’s hand came up slowly and brushed his, interlacing their ring fingers.

    

   Or: Annabeth has a very dangerous and confusing interaction with a monster, after she seeks Percys help since she is emotionally and physically drenched. Percy helps her getting cleaned up, in a pretty... intimate way.
