Work Text:
The paper in front of Kagiura Akira looked like hieroglyphics were scribbled all over.
It was full of practice problems and formulas that made no sense to him.
Kagiura was trying to understand the symbols on the math sheet, but it might as well have been blank, in all honesty.
He turned away from his desk to look at his roommate/boyfriend, Hirano Taiga, whose posture was straight while he studied for his own upcoming exams.
Although he couldn't see his face, Kagiura was sure Hirano's eyebrows were scrunched in focus over his eyes.
Thinking about that familiar expression made Kagiura ache to see it, even though it'd be a little difficult with the daylight fading throughout the evening.
Slowly, he rolled his desk chair across the room, stopping once he reached the other's desk, placing his arms on the table.
"Taiga-saaaan," the younger drawled, eventually capturing the attention he was waiting for.
With a quiet click, Hirano put his pen down on top of his notebook, shifting himself so he was facing Kagiura's direction.
"Akira-kun," he said evenly - a tone he only used when he was determined to get something done. "Is there something you need help with?"
Thinking that it was sweet that the blonde was so willing to help him with his work, Kagiura shook his head. "Mmm, no. I just can't focus." There was no harm in being honest.
Hirano crossed his legs at the ankles as he said, "So you have to pull me out of my focus because you're bored?" The corners of his lips quirked up, amused.
"Naturally," Kagiura replied without shame, batting his pretty green eyes in mock-innocence, which made his boyfriend chuckle lightly before he added, "Can't you take a break?"
Rolling his eyes, Hirano scoffed. "Not really. We have upcoming exams, Akira-kun."
The brunette pouted, reaching for Hirano's left hand and holding it.
"Not even for five minutes?" he asked softly, using the 'puppy dog-eyes' card.
Hirano stared, blinking slowly a few times.
He should say no. Passing his upcoming exams is more important than indulging into his boyfriend's ideas.
But one little break wouldn't hurt, right?
Damn it, why did it get him every time...
Sighing through his nose, he nodded a bit, fondly shaking his head.
Kagiura smiled, not taking the other's annoyance seriously, before placing a gentle kiss on the back of Hirano's hand.
Subtle, practically insignificant acts like these always made Hirano flustered for some unknown reason, explaining the color that spread across his nose and cheekbones, but he didn't pull away.
Hirano was completely, utterly absorbed by Kagiura.
He must've been quiet for a bit because Kagiura poked his cheek. "What's going on in that brain of yours, Taiga-san?"
Swatting his hand away, Hirano said, "Nothing drastic. Just... thinking," he added, watching the other leave more kisses on his hand.
"Just thinking?" Kagiura repeated, his lips trailing further up Hirano's arm, which was blossoming with goosebumps.
Well, his brain was too busy short-circuiting, so he wasn't doing much thinking anymore.
"More or less." Hirano muttered, breath hitching as lips pressed against his neck, hands snaking around to hold his waist.
Those papers weren't getting looked at any time soon.
Instinctively, one of Hirano's hands went into Kagiura's hair, the hold loose. His other hand held onto the armrest of the desk chair while he uncrossed his legs, giving Kagiura more room to get closer.
That was all the invitation Kagiura needed.
He began to press open-mouth kisses along the blonde's jaw, letting his brain come up with thoughts he would never dare to voice out loud.
It'd be more comfortable and intimate, he believed, if they were on the bed maybe, but the chairs would have to do for the time being. The last thing he'd want was to have his lover back out if they moved areas.
As he gave Hirano a soft kiss, whatever tension the older had there completely evaporated - like the hot sun over a puddle.
What started off slow quickly grew into something greater; swollen lips connecting ardently; breaths becoming more shallow; fingers gripping harder.
Small noises were made here and there, but it was never loud enough to alert their neighbors (especially Hanzawa; he'd strangle the both of them).
They have been deliberately trying to keep their relationship in the dark because they never want to risk anything falling apart.
Every movement or sound felt like it was hooked up to an amplifier, making it louder than it was.
Although Hirano didn't want to sound bitchy, his back was beginning to hurt, and he could only imagine how Kagiura was feeling.
Breaking away for a few seconds, he asked, "Floor?"
The floor worked just as good for Kagiura.
Humming in response, the brunette sank to his knees, tugging on Hirano's arm lightly to bring him along.
In a matter of seconds, they were both on the carpet; Kagiura flat on his back, Hirano straddling him.
Sunlight was slipping out of the windows, leaving strains of rays that illuminated both sets of eyes staring at one another.
Once aquamarine irises made contact with olive ones, the world stopped.
Time passed around them, but they didn't seem like they'd care if it did or didn't.
They were just simply infatuated with the person in front of them.
Wet mouths met again, creating a sound that was not the most appeasing, but neither of them cared.
When Kagiura had their tongues cross paths, Hirano shuddered, face flushing a deep red. "Akira-kun," he said in a low tone, flustered.
The sudden sound of his name almost made him stop, but when he opened his eyes, he saw want written all over Hirano's face.
"Why'd you stop?" Hirano panted lightly, a possibly embarrassed tone underlining his words.
"You said my name," Kagiura said, "I wanted to make sure you were doing okay."
With an annoyed grunt, the blonde told him, "Shut up," and kissed him quite roughly, clearly not in the mood to discuss what he did.
Kagiura wished they didn't have neighbors, because he wanted to hear his name out of Hirano's mouth more.
Much more.
